The prophet Samuel had to choose a new king from the sons of Jesse in Bethlehem. He made sure to choose the person God wanted for the job. In 1samuel 16:4-13, the Lord gave clear instruction to Samuel on how to find the next king of Israel . The key point being made in the middle of verse 7, where God says '' The lord doesn't see things the way you see them.
