From The Confessional: 'I Want A Divorce But I'm Pregnant'

We're back in the Scary Mommy Confessional today, and the field is wide open, writes Emma Coburn in today's intro: "Whether you're feeling annoyed with your local playgroup, stressed about screen time, or anxious over the dangers our kids face each day, you'll likely find someone on your wavelength below."

For instance, I bet a lot of you are feeling this one: "Can we please all stop being sick all the time." Another mom writes: "I want a divorce but I'm pregnant." Or how about this one? "I'm tired of having to be the mom for everyone in my family. Even more so the adults." That's extremely real!

As always, if you've got something to get off your chest — and what better time than a Monday, right? — the link is here. If you want to browse past Confessions, head here.

What if our goal was to raise kids who trust their bodies, who know that their bodies are never the problem, no matter what size they are, no matter what the world's telling them, who have that bedrock of trust in themselves?" That's from Jessica G. Hartshorn's new chat with Virginia Sole-Smith, whose new book Fat Talk: Parenting in the Age of Diet Culture will challenge everything you think you know about raising a "healthy eater." And it's absolutely worth a read.
