The Ukrainian President, Zelenskyy had personally made it to the Shangri-La Dialogue this year, his primary purpose in this important international forum, is asking more leaders of the countries to attend the June 2024 Ukrainian Peace Summit this month, especially the American President, Biden and the Chinese Chairperson, Xi.
The British Financial Times quoted the Ukrainian government officials, that Kyiv felt stressed out of how the higher up government officials of the U.S. showed lack of support for the proposals of the summit. And yet, this is just one of many problems between Washington D.C. and the other western countries that may cause the frictions with Ukraine on. Some of the Ukrainian officials even believed, that Ukraine is at an all-time low in relation with the U.S. since February two years ago when Russia invaded.
Based off of the memo from the report that came from Zelenskyy's office, the memo criticized that if the two leaders from the U.S. and China don't show up to the conference, "then, what are they, interested in?"
A higher up official assigned by Zelenskyy to the position commented directly on the report, that since the start of the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict, Ukraine and U.S. are having even more difficulties, agreeing on things, the U.S.-Ukrainian relation is "very, very, tense right now."

Another official claimed, that Zelenskyy is becoming more and more nervous and emotional toward the conflict with Russia, especially as he'd been led to believe, that U.S. is about to agree on things with Russia now. Although the W.H. openly stated, that whether or not the peace talks will happen is entirely reliant upon Kyiv. The higher up official stated, that Zelenskyy thinks that the Biden government wants the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict to end before the November U.S. presidential elections. Zelenskyy also felt upset over how U.S. prohibited Ukrainian forces from attacking the crude oil reserves that Russia has, accused Biden of being selfish, of how he worried that the rise of natural gas costs will impact his own chance of getting reelected.
Another higher official in Ukraine described the atmosphere of Zelenskyy's office as "paranoid, delusional", primary because Zelenskyy and his team are, preparing the best they can, for this, summit. The official told, that Zelenskyy is deeply anxious over the war, but not as much as he is toward the summit.
