It Guts Me Every Time I Go Through My Kid's Clothes

It's a rite of passage: sorting through your youngest kid's clothes and passing them along to somebody else, be it Goodwill or a friend of a friend. And Samm D. finds it almost impossibly hard. She writes: "Every time I say goodbye to these outgrown clothes for the last time, I am saying a final goodbye to what I wholeheartedly believe is the greatest phase of my life. And I have no idea how to move through the goodbyes without feeling immense grief for the things I will never get back again."

Not to mention it hurts to think about how expensive it all was. Or does it feel good for you to send it off to a new home? Give it a read and see what you think.

Voices for heroes and villains? I've got them covered. I'll read to these kids all day. It's all dinosaur dances and bear hunts — right up until that to becomes a with." Sound familiar?
