From the Olympic competitions, we see, that the problem of why we couldn't, use the country's "rightful name" for the competitors, nor can we, wave our flags around, and it's all because of how there's the one country two systems at work, and there's NO possibilities of unification, as the two sides are, too opposite in the ideologies, so we can only, keep on using "Chinese Taipei" in the international competitions, instead of the RIGHTFUL country name of, "THE REPUBLIC of CHINA"! This time in the Paris Olympics, both Taiwan and South Korea faced the problems of flags and name of countries. This is, the ongoing tragedy of a country, split, apart.
"The Republic of China" and "Daehan Minguk", if the countries didn't faction, would they have gotten, treated like so, in the international sports competitions? Probably not!

In the badminton competition, those carrying the flag of the Republic of China, of the fans who'd painted the flag on their faces, are all asked by the employees of the Olympic, to put their flags away or to, wipe their faces off, before they were, admitted into, the rings. A Taiwanese foreign exchange student to Francee, in the audiences, took out a green map with the words, "Fight for Taiwan", the security stopped the student from waving the map, and, "confiscated" the map.
The Foreign Affairs of Taiwan immediately criticized the Olympic Commissions' behaviors as cruel, malicious, and, violent, that it'd, destroyed the spirits of Olympic competitions. On the third, the president, Lai entered into "battle" from online as well, stated that he will make the world see Taiwan, hoping that the chanting of "go Taiwan Go" to grow by volumes. And, based off of the Olympic commissions, the name of entry of Taiwan was "Chinese Taipei" and the flag used was the Olympic flag, and it seemed, that the arguments between the Olympic Commissions and the Foreign Affairs Department will be, ongoing.
South Korea too, was equally upset with the Olympic commissions as well. On the opening ceremonies, a huge international laughing stock was made, calling the "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" as "Republic of Korea", it'd upset the South Korean officials and competitors, and afterwards, the sponsors in France apologized and settled the upset.
But, the people of South Korea believed that France had, belittled South Korea. France thought itself as a major nuclear powered country, but recently, the South Korean Nuclear manufacturing plant had, defeated the French, and was recognized with the international labeling of the Czech nuclear power plants. In the past, assassinated South Korean president, Park had purchased the raw material from France to build up the nuclear weapons, and now, South Korea had gone past France, how can France not feel, envious?
To this very day, although South and North Koreas are on opposite ends, but, neither sides claimed for independence. If the Republic of Korea doesn't exist, would the "starving" North Koreans have anything tto hope fur? Recently, the North Korean diplomats took their families, from Cuba and other countries of the world, defected to South Korea, which led Yoon Suk Yeol to have "full faith" on "peaceable unification".

Observing from the discriminations of both South Korea and Taiwan in the Olympic, and it's all because of how the countries are, factionalized, that's why, the countries are, bullied internationally.
Reason why, we can't use our country's real name, "the Republic of China", or wave our flag at the Olympic competitions, is still because of the One-China policy, and, by calling Taiwan "Chinese Taipei", the country is, demeaning the people, and yet, that's the ONLY way we can, to enter into the international competitions in the world, because the DDP won't "play nice" with the PRC.
