The man, Yu went to his girlfriend, Wu's rental place to find her, saw that an unknown male was inside her residence, gotten jealous, started, beating Wu and the other man, after the man left, Yu continued beating on Wu, and only left, after Wu fell to the floor, Wu was taken to the hospital by someone, and the medical professionals tried to save her life for ten whole days, then she died. The Kaohsiung District Attorney's Office indicted Yu on murder, and this is case that will be tried by a jury.
The forty-year-old man, Yu and his girlfriend, the twenty-three-year-old Wu, before the murder, fought a lot, at around ten in the morn on October third, Yu and his friend, Chen arrived at Wu's rental place in Yaling, Kaohsiung, Yu saw another male inside, suspected that Wu was cheating on him, and started beating both.
After the man was beaten, he'd left first, leaving Wu, Yu and Chen together, Yu was still angry, continued physically abusing Wu, causing Wu to sustain injuries on her head, she'd fallen to the floor, lost consciousness, but Yu did not take her to the hospital, but just left with Chen.
Chen worried that Wu might die, and called up Wu's best friend without Yu's knowledge to check up on her, as her best friend arrived, she'd found the door to Wu's home unlocked, and Wu was found, injured, unconscious in the living room, she'd immediately called the cops, rushed Wu to the hospital.
The police reviewed over the surveillance, found Yu fleeing in a blue sedan, traced the car, and, arrested Yu the following day at 11:15 in the morn, took him into custody in Tainan.
After Yu was taken into custody, he'd admitted that he'd altercated with his girlfriend too often, but didn't tell the cops what they'd been arguing over; Yu was charged on obstruction of public order, public endangerment, sentenced to seven months combined, and he could pay the fines for the charges, he'd served his term for obstruction of public order, with four months remaining to serve, and the D.A., due to his attempted murder on his girlfriend, sent him straight to prison.
After Wu had been resuscitated for ten days, she'd still died from severe injuries, the D.A. believed, that while Yu was attacking Wu, he'd shouted, "Why don't you just die!", and as Chen inquired if there's a need to take Wu to the hospital, Yu wouldn't allow Chen to, which the D.A. found that it was evidence for his intent to murder her, and, they'd made the case against Yu, and the courts mandated him be taken into custody.
And so, this is still a CASE of a LOSER, letting jealous get the best of him, I mean, the girlfriend was only having a male over to stay with her, and he'd flown into a jealous rage, then, ended up, MURDERING his girlfriend, how can that be called love, huh? It isn't, it's still, a case of "if I can't have you, then no one can", where possessiveness had been, MISTAKEN for love, and the woman died as a result of this.
