The first time a video by Ceci Kane came across my Instagram feed, she was recreating a typical scene from one of the Internet's richest sources of drama: Facebook mom groups. She's parlayed those first funny videos into a thriving platform on Instagram, and I recently got a chance to find out more about her life and her path to content creation.
And, yes, we chatted about the challenges of getting to eat your own food when you're a mom: "I hate sharing my food with my kids, because they only ever want mine. I always have to hide in a corner or something. I have this spot in my kitchen where if I squat down, they can't see me. So I'll sit against the corner there and I'll eat a snack."
In the latest Confessions roundup, 17 parents reveal what's on their minds, from holding on to (or letting go of) old relationships and breaking generational cycles.
Our own Julie Sprankles recently got a chance to chat with the iconic Christian Siriano about mom fashion. And he had some great words of wisdom: "Listen, I have lots of moms who are friends, and I think the point of that is, obviously, comfort is important because every mom is so busy. But I think that you still don't want to lose yourself and what you love." And he talked specifics, too. Give it a read!
