As part of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), we want to put your values and views at the heart of transforming skills in our region.
The South Yorkshire LSIP aims to make sure that businesses in our region have the skills they need to take full advantage of digital technology. Digital tools and methods of working can transform businesses in many ways, but we need to make sure that your current and future employees have the skills, knowledge and confidence to put those technologies to work.
Increasing the use of digital technology and the digital skills of our local workforces will help your business and our region to stay competitive. By responding to this survey, you will be helping us to focus on the digital skills that will make a difference to your business, now and into the future.
We have a firm commitment from the region's universities, colleges and local authorities to heed the results of this survey. The information gathered will be used to inform the region's Skills Strategy and commissioning decisions as well as enabling training providers to respond to the needs of the region's businesses.
Completing the survey
This is not just your ordinary survey; your responses will help guide the adoption of new skills in the region and help transform our communities and workforces to face a digital future by giving them the skills we need to compete both nationally and globally.
The survey may only take a few minutes to complete but the data will impact the skills of future generations in South Yorkshire.
If for any reason you are unable to complete the survey in one sitting you will be able to pick up where you left off if using the same device, but please aim to do this within 24 hours so that we are able to use the data in our analysis.
