When You Know It's Your Last

Raquel Kelly wasn't totally sure about having a third kid, but she just knew she wasn't done. She writes: "In the end, we went for it, and I was so glad. After suffering postpartum depression after my second, I was glad to feel better and to experience the pure, genuine joy with the last. But it's also been hard and there are definitely things I will and won't miss about those early days." And now that she is all finished having kids, she's sharing what those things are. It's really sweet — give it a read.

It's graduation season, and you know what that means: yet another excuse for over-the-top displays for the 'gram. And Diana Park is currently getting lobbied HARD by her daughter: "She wants to have a party and invite all her friends and family, which is understandable. She'd like to pass out favors and get a new dress — also reasonable. But she's also been bombarding me with texts and Pinterest pictures hinting at other ideas: a photo booth complete with props, a sushi boat, a large heart shaped cake, and an arbor made of roses and balloons. On the one hand, I want to shower her with all those things; on the other: NOPE." She makes her case at the link, and it's very persuasive. (Not that it was hard to convince me.)
