On the afternoon of January nineth, the D.o.D. issued three consecutive "national level alerts", I was on the Taipei MRT trains, the alarm sounded off, and resonated through the, entire, train.
The D.o.D. issued the alerts in both English and Chinese, stated that the satellite from China had flown past the skies of Vietnam, that the people in Taiwan should watch out for their, safety, but the English version of the alert had "missile" instead of satellite, causing the outside to criticize; because we're closing in the elections, that was why the alert happened, and it'd, made us feel, quite, odd. Plus, as Tsai went on the campaign trails to help her party candidates, she'd had that mysterious smile on her face, told the locals, "it's okay, the president's here!", it'd, reminded me of the two bullets which were fired on the eve of the former president, Chen's election, that weird smile off of Chiu's lips.
How can the D.o.D. be so, careless? And, the alerts are, too unfounded too. There were satellites, flying overhead in the skies of Taiwan, not just on this, particular, date, and how many satellites had flown overhead? Why did the alert only, sounded off, on the eve of the, elections? And, came at the pace of one right after, another, and another? To enforce the country's hate for China, to deepen that fear of our country getting, taken, over?
Reasonable doubt tell us, this is, the, manipulative means ordered by the Tsai government, on the campaigns for her party members, as the president, and the head of state, showed, no signs of, worries on their, faces, clearly, this was, planned out, too, well. And, the D.o.D. who got, assigned to the task of hitting the country with a "national grade level alert", it would be, a bit, unfounded, but, it'd, made us all, experience, the most, weird, wayward, "national level alert" in history.
But, after the jokes, did D.o.D. get turned into, the boy who cried, wolf? What if, there was, a missile from Communist China coming our ways, would the nationwide alert issued by the D.o.D. still be, taken, seriously by the citizens here? And by that time, that would be, the beginning of, national crisis.
So, this alert that we all received from our cellphones, because, that's how our cellphones got connected to the government agencies, was to scare us all into believing, that OMG, the COMMIES are coming to take us over, we must do something! Oh I know, VOTE for the party that's too set on Taiwanese independence, the D~D~P!
And this is how LOW the DDP went, to try and, SCARE us all, into voting for their, corrupt, political party, do I need to count up how many cases of sex scandals of their party members (and there are, surely some from the KMT "camps" too!), or how the DDP blocked off the purchasing of BioNTech vaccines, because it was sold by the agent that was Chinese? Or how about, ignoring the voices of WE the people, in going AHEAD in importing of the pork with ractopamine from the U.S., or the nuclear contaminated produces from Japan, and I lost track already, of how many of these ABUSES there'd been, that the DDP made WE the people, swallowed already!
So, will we be, wise enough, to KNOW fact from fiction, when we go to the polls this weekend? Yeah, if only, We the people can be, intelligent, enough, but I'm pretty sure, that we (collectively speaking) are, too stupid, so…
