The Agricultural Commissions under Tsai promised that the meal plans of the elementary and middle school students have the "groupers for every class", and under Lai, the Agricultural Department proposed that the elementary school children "have milk every class", and, no matter how you work it, this is, a stagnant, government. If any of the agricultural problems this country has, needed the elementary school students to act as saviors, what would be the purpose of the Agricultural Department? Now, summer is, half way through, but, do all the elementary school students get to have the fresh milk every class every day, what of the food safety of the refrigerated chain of the milk delivered, no resolution to this current day.
"Milk for every child in the class", is to combat the impact of the zero tariffs of the milk imported from New Zealand. While the "Taiwanese-New Zealand Economic Cooperation Act" was signed when? Back in 2013. The Agricultural Department had thought hard for a whole decade, on the policies to combat this, and, as the deadline approached, it can only come up with the plans of "every child in the elementary classes gets free milk", and now, the Agricultural Department is force-feeding the elementary students fresh milk.
The head of agriculture, Chen in the interviews, stated that "every child in every class gets milk" is not because there's no competitive edge for the milk produced in this country but "milk has calcium, and it helps the growing child, hoping that elementary age students would have better sources of calcium." And the head of Department of Education, Cheng can only, go along, said, "milk for every student in class is the plan", "providing children in the elementary years, the toddlers with fresh, healthy, safe milk will help them grow up healthy and strong!"
And if "every class gets fresh milk" is the plan, then why would there be any changes of the dairy farmers' means in Taiwan, why would we need an upgrade for the systems of raising the cows? And the elementary students couldn't finish up the milk, so the government force fed the milk to the military, stating that milk can make them stronger, with more strengths to battle. And, if the military can't consume the excess, the government pulls every citizen to consume, for the children developing, milk provide calcium for their bones, but don't the middle age, and elderly population also need that calcium supplement?
And through this, we can still see, how INCOMPETENT this DDP government is, because now, they'd reproduced an excess, like the groupers found to have too much antibiotics that China banned the fish from imported, the DDP stated that every elementary school gets groupers for their nutritious lunches, and now, the same is with the milk too. And the DDP government only knows, how to cover up its own inability to set up a working policy, and now, it tried to, cover its, mistakes, when it should've, proposed a plan that worked in the first place, but it can't, because it operates on, HINDSIGHT!
