Checking the Personal Data Again, the Five Officers Testified, then Sent Back, the Hsinbei City Police in Suspicion of Scamming Elderly Who Lived Alone, the Officers Involved in the Bribe from the Encroachment Also Taken into Custody
The Taipei D.A.'s Office, after checking the members of the scam ring's cell phone contacts, found the photos of the police checking the personal data of citizens, and they'd chased the leads, found that the leak came from the officer, Lee from Tzi-Fu Substation of the Sanchong Police Precinct of Hsinbei Police, the officer was suspected of checking the personal data of individuals, suspected of leaking out the personal data; two days ago, the district attorney searched the offices, and interviewed the officer, and took in another five officers of the station to testify, after interrogations, Lee was charged with breaking the laws of privacy, and asked the courts to have the officer, Lee into custody, the courts allowed for it, and the five patrol officers who'd testified were sent home.
it pays, higher...image from online
Based off of understanding, the Taipei D.A.'s Office found in the conversation records on the scam ring's cell phones, found the photos of personal data, license plates of citizens; because the image was from the internal computer system in the police department, the D.A.'s office suspected that there were police officers in collusion with the ring, to leak out the data, and had the police departments in Taipei and Hsinbei to investigate the matter.
Using the search systems of the National Police Agency, there would be the records, quickly enough, the D.A. and police found that the sources of the checks came from the Sanchong Substation, and the officer in question was Lee, the time was during May of this year, he was in suspicion of illegally searching the civilians' license plates, and other personal data.
Two days ago, the district attorneys had the Detective Teams of Taipei Police with the superintendent's assistant, first searched the Sanchong Substation, gotten the records off the computers, then, headed to the Tsi-Fu Subprecinct to arrest Lee, and had five more patrol officers testify as witnesses. After interviewing the five witnesses for about two hours, they were all, sent back, Lee was in great suspicion of breaking the laws of privacy, with a high chance of collaborating his testimonies, the D.A. asked the courts to keep him in custody, the courts signed off on it.
And so, this is, just ONE of MANY cases, of how the police went to the, "dark side", because it pays better, and that's how easily law can be, bought, and the morale of these government workers, is going down, and it's not heading back up anytime soon, because money is always running out, and we all need more, that's the primary motive behind these, crimes, because it pays a hell of a lot higher, working for the, "bad guys"…
