On the final day of their terms as NCC Committee members, Lin and Wang openly criticized the "politically tilted media press becoming more and more organized", worried about the democratic progressions of Taiwan. This is an important accusation, any person who care about the maturity of Taiwanese democracy, the stability of the democracy of Taiwan, all need to, do something.

But what was unfortunate, is that this only made the news for one day, which suggested to how the political culture of democracy is too, culturally, shallowed, the people only had limited knowledge for the news media's effect on guarding democracy. While the responses of the parties out of power is even more, disappointing. The legislators out of power zoomed in on "why did she only tell of this after she stepped down", and the Executive Department took the advantage, claimed, "they could've done something more!". The two committee members who'd told the truths, didn't get any applause, but they'd, gotten that target on their, backs now. This makes people wonder, are both political parties responsible in causing the news medial to becoming, political party driven?
The stress of separation of powers of modern democracy is in that the people worried about the concentration of power in one branch of government will cause the power to get abused. Our country had five different branches of government, and the five branches needed to operate independently of each other, to truly, supervise each other, to prevent the possibility of a dictator. But other than the five, there's one more that needed to be, independent: the power of news media press; in the three-branches of government of the U.S. the news media press became known as the "fourth branch". From the healthy development of democracy, "the political news media organizing" doesn't help democracy, instead it can, take away democracy, like a cancer that spreads, this is NOT to be taken lightly.
Lin and Wang were both scholars, never involved in politics, they should be thrilled, as they entered into the political realm, and found out that there are too many calculations between the agencies, how the government agencies had, sold the people, out, for their own, individual, benefits, and they needed the affirmations for telling the truth before getting ousted of office. While the supervising properties of the parties out of power, they'd only engaged in the spitting contests, criticized the two committee members who'd, stepped, down; are these legislators clueless about the definitions of democracy, or, they'd received some benefits, from the news media groups playing favoritism toward the various political parties?
Democracy is when people rule, but, the only time we rule is when we cast our, ballots, and after the votes had been cast, we'd become, the "governed"; in actuality, it's the general media press that should be continuing ruling in our favors, with the primary responsibilities of supervising those in power. In other words, the news media press and the people should be on the same sides, distrusting the government, criticizing the government, that way, they can fight for people's rights.

And the news media press becoming subsidized by the political parties sent the messages of news media press got bought by the political parties, and betrayed the people.
The owners of the news media are people too, and they too, have their, preferences of political parties, but, there's no, news media press, fitting enough, to work as the loud speaker of the party, nor is there a fitting news reporter who wanted to be the hitman for the political party.
The news media press had lost its function, and the parties out of power aren't chasing after them, what are you, doing?
So, this is on the supervision of the branches of government, the divisions of power, and the news media is a fourth branch and probably the most important branch of the government, because it functioned to supervise the government for we the people, but, these days, the news channels are bought out by the DDP, and so, it's all DDP favored stations on the primetime news channels, and the news media press had, failed its functions in ensuring there's no, abuse of power by the political party that's, taken over the, country!
