While job coaching this afternoon at Walgreens, I noticed two things.

There was a young man with a sweatshirt on and over his heart it read, "Make sure your friends are okay"

A small statement, but so powerful.

I reach out to people frequently, but do I make sure that they are okay?

I will try to do better at this.

The second thing was, I happened upon a card.

In this card was a Henry David Thoreau quote "It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see."

This touched me, probably because I sort of make it my mission to "notice" things.

To see things. And if they have a big enough impact on me, I share them with you.

I hope your Friday is lovely. Have a good weekend.
