I don't mean one of self-design but one that God has designed for you. So often we change ourselves trying to fit others and their needs but unless it's a flaw or a sin we don't need to. God has put in us everything that we need to be who he wants us to be. If I'm over here pretending to be weak for you how is God going to show me how much power I have? How strong I can be? We look at other people and see what they have and try to live our life how they live theirs thinking it'll produce the same result in my life. And we may try but we will fail because even if I wear your clothes, have your job, talk like you, walk like you I will never be you. I will never have the ending God designed for you. So I can try but I may mess up my life trying to live the way it wasn't meant to be lived. Because what you have in you allows you to be you. You are capable of certain things I am not therefore I am not equipped to take the burden or the blessing that God has planned for you.

We all have a cross to bear and how can I walk if I'm trying to carry two? Because remember, just because I'm trying to be you doesn't mean I stop being me. So I'm carrying your cross while I'm dragging my own hoping it'll go away. Life is already full of its own struggles and challenges and I know what mine is but why would I want to take on unknown problems from someone else? No. Put down the unnecessary weight, the unnecessary pain, the suffering, and whatever else it is that comes with you not being who you were meant to be. In Matthew 11:29-30, Jesus says take his yoke upon you and learn of him. It's easy and his burden light. Your life may seem hard because you are not living in who God made you be. Taking his yoke is accepting your cross. What God has designed for your life. He says learn of him because if you learn about the lord and his father he will show you who you are and help you along this journey. And once that happens your yoke will be easy and your burden will be light because you are acting within your niche you have accepted your position and playing it to the fullest. When we are ourselves and doing what God asks us to do, things no longer become hard no matter how heavy our cross is. To learn Jesus, learn God so you can play your part, your position. Because when you're acting on purpose, you're being who God designed you to be.
