The war of the four votes on public policies are on, the government officials' performances, fell out of, people's, expectations here. Of the arguments, the worst, with the least validity, was the chairperson, of the Agricultural Committee, Chen's claims. He'd stated, "if we banned the pork with ractopamine, it would anger the U.S.", the pork with ractopamine, turned into a matter of debate on international trade, instead of what it originally was, safety of food consumption for we the people, that banning the imports of the pork from the U.S., it would block our membership into the CPTPP.
Chen doesn't work for the diplomatic affairs department, nor is he the head of economics of the country, and yet, he'd, used the economics and the terms of diplomacy, in his interpretations of the issues of importing the pork with ractopamine from the U.S., he'd become, disoriented in his role; the U.S. isn't a member of the CPTPP, and, whether or not Taiwan gets its foot into the organization, how is it affected by the importing of the pork with ractopamine from the U.S.?

What's more humorous, was that his metaphors don't make any sense at all. Chen told, that Taiwan makes the differences of imported fees of $530 billion from the U.S., if we don't import the pork with ractopamine, wouldn't the American be angry with us? In actuality, getting down to the matter in the most specific terms, the biggest affect would be China, for the past ten months, up to October, we'd, earned a total of $3.8 trillion from across the straits, roughly seven times of what the country has trades with the U.S. But, is Tsai's government, fearful, of angering, the Chinese government?
No! Taiwan does NOT CARE! We not only sold the fruits infested with the scale insects to across the straits, and as China returned the shipments, we'd, tattled to the WTO, Chen's flair is, full of, hot air all right! Let us think, we are playing that game of favorites with the east, and the west, does this, fit to the rules of the games that we're currently playing in, internationally?
Chen's "could care less attitude" toward the pork with ractopamine being imported in, and its affect on the farmers, we will let it slide, but his, ignorance of how the pork with the carcinogens to people's health too? He'd stubbornly claimed that this was NOT an issue of food safety. Besides, look, China did NOT ban the imports of American pork, they'd only asked for Zero content of the ractopamine, that the pork farms in the U.S. immediately changed the way they're feeding the pigs locally, and, exported the "non-ractopamine pork" to China. Both sides giving a little, taking a little away, that, is, a win-win.
With Tsai's halo around the matters, and yet, the moment that Chen took the "stand", all went, BUST!
And so, this, is how this government, disregarded, the health of we the people, with its insistence on importing the pork with the ractopamine (a cancer-causing agent too boot!) into the country, and despite the common sense of food safety, of all the scientific studies that showed, that consumption of this chemical overtime can cause adverse, irreversible, effects on our health, the government's still, going ahead, because it can't afford to anger the country that uses us, as a pawn, in this game of WAR, with China. Yeah, if that's not retarded, then, I don't know what would be!
