My kitchen chairs are always scraping the flooring and needed something on the leg feet so they didn't. I first used chair socks and over the year they got holes torn in them. This of course made more scruff marks on the floor as they never lasted. I was in Walmart recently and saw these Ruby Sliders and I saw it stated on package "stretchy." Ok so my first thought was if they are stretchy they should fit the feet of the kitchen chairs. I talked myself into purchasing one pack with 8 in it enough to do 2 chairs. I figured trial and error before I purchased them for the other two chairs. I brought them home, took off the socks that were on the fair feet, replaced them with the Ruby Sliders.

They fit snug on the chair feet and with a perfect stretch. I was worried about ripping them but I didn't. The installation was quick and fast. The way they wrap around these chair feet make me think of shrink wrap. It's pretty neat of an idea. There is no way these will slip and fall off the chair feet. Plus these chairs when being used to make such loud sounds or even whenever I'd move them around...now they are whisper quiet! I can't hear when the kids are using them and moving them back into place. I don't need to worry about scratches on my floors, I don't need to worry about finding worn out socks that have holes in them from chair being sat in or moved, and I don't need to worry about the noise. Ruby Sliders are well worth the investment because they are going to save me tons of money in the long run. They could save you money as well if you are willing to make this investment. I can't wait to purchase more for every other piece of furniture in my home. I'm hoping the stores are still fully stocked when I go to buy them. I can get them for $9.99 for the pack of 8 and to me that's a deal especially while it's saving me money. Oh and I forgot to mention that they are clear so you really can't see them. No trying to match them to your chair color or etc. Them being clear they go with everything. They are not an eyesore like some other ones I've researched. One reason I had ended up with those socks for chair feet for so long. Now I'm for the Ruby Sliders, these are the best!! I honestly think they would make a wonderful gift idea for someone as well who worry about their floors getting scrapped up and ruined by chairs, tables, furniture in general. I know I'm purchasing my mom a set for Christmas this year as well.
