She kept reaching over and patting my daughter's pencil as she colored. So sweet. (And for any phonics teacher out there--you might recognize that that's my giant Heggerty phonics book the cat starts out sitting on. Best phonics program ever! We must teach them to HEAR the sounds before they can READ the sounds.)
