Everybody's at it
To me at least, this is an important post - so I want every reader to be clear from the outset that, while the examples used are mostly personal, I am not playing the 'Poor Me' card. Having a largely contrarian outlook on life, I do some things differently to most people.
Sometimes they work, and quite often they don't - but they're pretty much always based on expectation; an expectation that the urgent mundane must be set aside for a while in order to deal with an important rarity. History is replete with famous last words along the lines of "I'm sure there's a perfectly innocent explanation and you're making a mountain out of aaaaaarg".
It is my considered opinion that Homo sapiens has reached a point of not so much important rarity as uniquely catastrophic cultural bankruptcy.
Never, ever ignore symptoms.
Never before in our species history has every last competent adult been so dishonest.
Never before has the sole commercial sector with a certainty of long term growth potential been Crime.
And yet - at the same time - never have so many evidence-based opinions and natural behaviours been so casually dismissed as criminal.
Never have so many important cultural terms been re-bored in a bid to change their true meaning.
Never - not even in the worst darkness of Roman brutality,Viking ferocity, Catholic repression, Stalinist ideology and Nazi gibberish - has so much science been declared both 'settled' and 'reversed' at one and the same time.
Never has the powerful influence and narrow ownership of global mass media been so given over to the service of totalitarian marketing in support of wicked goals.
As a direct result of that, never has so much power been unelected - and yet, democracy so directly endangered by both the ignorance of electorates and the irrelevence of legislatures.
And last yet anything but least, never has the primary goal of every "First World" State been to shift government's purpose away from maximised citizen potential to maximised exploitation and control of those same taxpayers.
Some of those assertions sound very black and white, but bear with me - I will explain all of them. However, I want to take that last symptom of depraved inversion first, and flesh out the bones of 'control and exploitation', because such is (for the 7in8) the one most lacking in credibility.
It took me five months to plan my relocation to Gambia. Also involved in the move on top of the calculated cost was the large sum of €27,400, lost in the following nefarious ways:
Sold a dud laptop, incompetent Notaire, petty theft, opportunistic greed, unnecessary Covid tests, airline profiteering, airport profiteering, Bank falsehoods, house purchaser falsehoods, pointless jabs, medical falshoods, inefficacious meds, travel intermediary falsehoods, motor fraud, failure to do agreed work and stolen valuables.
In order of cost, the cause of the losses involved The State, Underclass pilfering, Banks (nine of them) globalist business and bureaucratic graft. That nutshell summary of cost ranking really tells the whole story: being a member of the 'squeezed middle' dealing with alienated and/or ruthless citizens in a corporacratic State is a hellishly expensive business.
Unvaccinated? You pay extra. Richer than me? Fuck you, you can afford to lose a car, a dishwasher and two routers - you deserve to be robbed. Crossing national borders? We'll exaggerate the danger and sell you jabs you don't need. Need large sums in cash? Obviously suspicious, slap a size per transaction limit requiring 20 withdrawals and add it to all those 5% mark-ups at each end - got an arrangement with us? Sorry, doesn't apply to Africa. Want the Transfer quicker than five days - nihil desperandum…but it'll cost you. Exchange rate dropped during the five days? Love to help you, that's the Russians see, they invaded Ukraine. Stands to reason.
Never before in our species history has every last competent adult been so dishonest. They have to be, just to stay afloat and alive. Airlines have to load UXBs into the small print and fire staff to afford crazy energy prices. Doctors and nurses toe the vaccine line or get fired. Journalists reprint mad narratives, admen write 'We're by your side' as straplines on corporate bank ads. Teachers, cops, estate agents, car dealers, religious leaders, actors and comics: all lie, all of the time - often from a mistaken sense of duty. But chiefly because Mammon's toilet paper dictates it: most people have families, mouths to feed and little or no experience of genuine poverty.
As for those at the bottom - way below the artisans with a metier the better off need - they have only their cunning, guile and self-deluding resentment to power them on. People with enough money are stupid and easily flattered, so play a tune on such ethics as they have, then milk the bastards as and when you can. For the Underclass, nothing ever changes.

They have segmented crime in any number of ways: never have so many evidence-based opinions and natural behaviours been so casually dismissed as criminal.

These ironies of changing crime are veritably fascinating - a case of using the power of financial crime and fraud to gather the Useful Idiots together in distracted pursuit heaping false guilt onto those who still behave like human beings.

We always like to think of politicians as the fat fibbers par excellence, but their well-oiled mendacity rendered them irrelevant decades ago; one can't say that of the rigorously propagandising sovereign liberal commentators who these days rule supreme over the impossibly disconnected bourgeois bohemian occupants of glittering capitals across the First World.
I chortle almost daily at the assumptive certainty of these misled misleaders paid handsomely by editors only a handshake away from sick supremacists like Soros, Murdoch, Jake Rothschild, Gates, Draghi, Blair and Sedwill. In my youth, they had the gall to declare my own profession of advertising to be "the hidden persuaders"; in fact, Adland has always been full of self-styled liberals who sign up to every one of their potty ideas, still declaring an admiration for Tony Benn and Jeremy Corbyn from the relative safety of Tuscany.
No psychographic type responds more positively to tramline propaganda than the rigid ideologists of media gulch and the feral screaming banshees depicted in Eastenders; and therefore, never has so much power been unelected - and yet, democracy so directly endangered by both the ignorance of electorates and the irrelevence of legislatures. One thing sort of leads to another really: half-baked pc-riddled education enabled by woffling politicians results in the halving of every electorate's IQ, the limp acceptance of AI, the following of an SS dictum (settled science) and the application of all to analyses of infantile falsehood.
Infantile falsehoods are white lies that grow up into somewhat stunted Good Lies that create the New Normal myths, and a form of post-empirical thinking that makes the Flat Earth theory entirely logical by comparison.
To keep the myth-riddled catechism credible, more histories have to be changed, the lies have to get bigger, and the criminal intent more and more all-embracing.
The Big Con of Covid becomes the Big Lie of Globally Warmed Vaccine and then the Big Crime of Population Control, before emerging from its squirming chrysalis as the Biggest Genocide in recorded Earth history.
Everyone becomes implicated….and thus, by definition, a criminal.
And that's why we will lapse into uniquely catastrophic cultural bankruptcy unless every last calumny of this unfolding horror show eventually comes to light, government returns to being an enabler of humanity's potential for good - and science resumes its rightful role as an Inquiry, not an Inquisition.
