There were a total of more than 6.89 million people in Taiwan who'd contracted MERS-CoV this year, the total number of death is 10,676, and, this current BA.5 pandemic, the effects were underestimated by the C.D.C., the C.D.C. originally thought that we would be out of the plateau, but to this very day, the daily confirmed contractions is still at the peaks of 40,000 to 50,000 new cases per day. It's the national birthday two days ago, the crowds were filling up the places, we are on the verge of reopening the borders, a lot of people are worried now, on how the pandemic is still raging everywhere, and how we are going to, find that balancing point between the bans getting lifted, and protecting ourselves against contraction became, the most pressing task at hand for us as citizens individually.
The new increases of 41,364 cases locally, with seventy-four moderate to severely symptomatic, and thirty-six deaths. The Public Health Department professor from N.T.U. criticized the C.D.C. for not implementing a system of protection, or reporting that worked, that it'd NOT done anything toward the goals of "lowering the cases of contractions", and "lowering the rates of death", to "coexist with the virus in the manageable means", he'd wanted the president to answer, "where's the new direction of Taiwan's protecting itself against the MERS-CoV pandemic?"
The commander of the C.D.C., Wang stated, that it'd been six months since we'd switched gears from lowering the number of cases down to zero to "coexisting with the virus", that the country will NEVER go back down that road of blocking off the borders, closing the country's gates again. Wang had named multiple examples of how the country had, kept the number of cases down from before, stressed, "Taiwan will NEVER go back to the old ways", but, can this really, settle the citizens' worries?

Tomorrow, the "zero-plus-seven" quarantine means will start, the C.D.C. stressed that the cases that will move in, won't have that much of an effect on the pandemic locally, that there's a low rate of mortality with the B.A.5 strain, hoping that the people will learn to coexist with the virus, but, the number of contraction is skyrocketing right now, how are we, supposed to, feel, at ease about it?
Other than giving these pep talks, the C.D.C. should start with the systems, and the administering of the treatment medications, to set up the measures, to ready the country for the challenges that are, about to happen, as we lifted the bans on the quarantines. For instance, a lot of people worried that if they'd reported their own contractions, and quarantine for a whole week, it may affect their work, so they'd, not called it in, and started spreading the virus around in their, local communities, toward this, the C.D.C. spread out its arms, "There's nothing we can do, if people don't report themselves, and don't follow the rules of the at-home quarantine means!"
The medication used to treat MERS-CoV contraction, Plaxovid, in mid-May, Korea had already expanded the usage population to twelve and up, and as of now, Taiwan still set the limits on the use of the medication based off of age, and the preexisting conditions, they'd placed the bans on the safer Chinese herbal remedies found to be effective in treating MERS-CoV contraction, so, as the people contract the virus, we can only, rely on, ourselves!
And so, this is still, SHIT! This DDP government hogged up ALL the resources we need to keep ourselves protected, placed the purchasing limits on the number of doses of quick-scan kits that each person is allowed to purchase, not made the drugs that had been found effective for treating MERS-CoV available to those of us who are in need, because IT want's to wipe OFF all the population who are currently, against them in votes, so that way, they have a one-hundred percent chance of winning that election for the local offices at the end of the year, making the entire island, SINK!
