An educator who is, a good role model for the students, who used her own actions, to show the students how to act right! Translated…
In this modern day society, although, there's the belief of the school principal being, without actual powers, with the blames, but no force, but in my own personal career, I'd never encountered this.
Started on the first day I was assigned to a school as a principal, I'd started thinking about how I was going to give the students a better means of learning, more resources to help them succeed in school. The very first school I was assigned to was a distant-regions school. The temperatures in the winter mornings would drop to around zero, and the students would often have frostbites on their, ears, but at this time, when the principal called out, then, the massive amounts of resources from the compassions of the world around would rush into this village. Not only the kids get the lotions to keep their hands smooth from the cracks, they also have more to bring back home for their families, as for the clothes to keep them warm in the winters, they came by the truckloads, I'm truly grateful to the giving, the love from the world around us, to let the students not get deprived in growing up.
Later, I'd switched to another school, the levels of basic knowledge needed to be, maintained, and as the principal, I needed to not just bark out the orders to the teachers of the classrooms, demanding that they work hard in teaching, but to find a more effective way to help the instructors with teaching the lessons to the students. Teaching is my trade, from Chinese language to the essays, from science to music, the principal demonstrated himself, and there's the added effect too, that the students would focus on me, to see if, I'm, lecturing to them the correct facts or not! That young elementary school kid who'd told me that I wasn't right in my conducting hands for the band, is now, a music major, with the primary focus of conducting—from before, he'd, listened to me, and now, I'm, following, his, lead.
But, with the views of education changing, surely, there would be the difficulties of the school instructors' managing the classrooms, some of the children don't want to sit still and learn, they'd run outside to play, to the point of the upper grade level students, started exerting signs of self-mutilation, all of these, we need all hands on deck to solve. In the end, the instructors and I decided to use the rewards rather than the punishments, when the students made the perfect score on their quarterly exams, or can recite a text from top to bottom completely, or jumping ropes for a whole minute, we'd, given them a coupon for ice cream at the local super convenience shops. And certainly, with the rewards, comes the willingness, and ever since, the conflicts between instructors and students, reduced greatly, the students, they're either working hard, practicing jumping ropes, or, they're, reciting the texts. Seeing how they are, reciting the text with such focus, that's, a joy, to me.
And just like that, I stood on the post of the principal, saw the sixth graders graduate every year. Actually, so long as the principal walks around the school regularly, with that broom, sweeping the campus yards, observing the goings on of the different classrooms, slowly, the students will get trained on learning on their, own, and they will also, build up their own, confidence as well. If there's a next life, I think, I would still choose the profession of a school principal.
And so, here, we have an educator who'd poured her heart and soul into educating the students, being a role model to her staff members, watching over the students in her school, making sure that they stay on course, and naturally, the students, after they'd learned, that someone is watching me closely to see if I'm doing what I'm supposed to, nobody will, act up, and they all became, studious, because this school principal had become a good role model to them.
