I had a stirring vision of a magnifcent tunnel that we travel through when we leave this earthly body. When we die we all will face a reckoning of our soul, earth life and how we were as a human being. The Bible is clear in this and is what I personally beleive to be the truth. Gods word says in John 5:4; "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life". We are also told in Revelation 21:8; "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
I died on an operating table a few years ago and was gone for over seven minutes. I was out of my body, saw myself on the table being woeked on and suddenly saw the brightest sky blue skies and wonderful puffy clouds. As I pulled away from my body in spirit I left the blue skies and entered into the stars. I could see everything around me and it was bright and beautiful. I then entered a tunnel where I began to see kin folk that had come to meet me. I saw my mother first, then my dad and soon my grandparents. My mom reached out for my hand and led me up the tunnel of light. The tunnel was colorful with purple, blue, and some black spots here and there.
As we left the tunnel I knew I was in the presence of the Almighty God. I found myself on my knees and was surrounded by huge Angels on both sides. I could feel the love, compassion and grace of God and I tried to look up at the light. As I tried to look up an Angel pushed my head back down into a praying position and I suddenly was going back down the tunnel and at the end of it I saw a crossroads. It was the split between Heaven and Hell. I had not seen it on the way up but could sense and feel the agony, fear and torture that awaited those that hit that split in the crossroads.
I knew it was not a place I would go, but knew others were going there. I began to see the universe again and the stars. Then the awesome blue skies and suddenly as if I had never left I was laying on the table and heard the doctor say, "we have him back". After a little stay in the hospital and everything checked out I asked the doctor a few weeks later about what happened. He told me with a tear in his eye that "I had really scared them and was gone for awhile, but came back". He said as he worked on me there was a calming peace within him and he knew God was guiding his hands.
I later had another dream that showed me the Angels and that it was not my time and that is why my head was pushed back down. I do know from my experience that Heaven is for real. There is a hell and those that fail to understand the key to getting there will someday face eternity without peace of soul. They will take the crossroads that lead straight to hell and fulfill the devils goal of taking another soul for his pleasure. The Bible tells us that if we are a sinner that we can ask for forgivenss and seek Gods connection and all will be forgiven.
As you travel the crossroads of your human exsistence prepare your soul for that journey up the tunnel of life. Where you will either face God or the Devil. Gods grace is my goal so I choose to do the best I can and ask his forgiveness. You may question my story, dream and real life experience. I did die, I did go through the tunnel and I did come back. What I can tell you is it is wonderful. If I would have looked up I know only God could have sent me back. I pray whomever is reading this gets to oneday experience the tunnel of light and feel Gods grace, mercy and forgiveness first hand. It is life changing, soul changing and leaves memory that makes facing death later in life a look forward too and not something to fear.
Luke 23:43; And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." 1st Corinthians 2:9; But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him".
