This year, I had the opportunity to visit the Comic-Con Museum during SDCC 2024 in San Diego, where I met the Senior Director of Advancement, Courtney Gant. It was a wonderful experience, and I'd like to share more about it.
Courtney shared some fun details about the museum and its exhibits. The museum, which opened in November 2021, was created to provide a space where comics and popular art exhibits are available year-round for the community to enjoy. I was thrilled to hear about the vision and heart behind the museum.
Some of the current exhibits include a VR interactive experience, Star Wars displays, Back to the Future displays (including the iconic DeLorean), Alien, Jurassic Park, Betty Boop, E.T., and more. I also appreciated the educational aspect, where visitors can build their own robots and create artwork.

One highlight of my visit was the VR interactive experience. It provided an immersive journey through different worlds and universes, making it a must-try for visitors. The Star Wars displays were another favorite, offering a close-up look at costumes, props, and models from the franchise. The Back to the Future exhibit, with its detailed recreation of the DeLorean, was also a standout.

In addition to the exhibits, the museum offers various workshops and events that cater to different age groups and interests. These activities not only enhance the visitor experience but also provide opportunities for learning and creativity.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Comic-Con Museum. The exhibits were captivating, and the visit was thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to returning in the future to see what new displays and activities they have in store as Courtney shared they are updated every 6 months.
If you're a fan of comics, movies, or popular culture, I highly recommend visiting the Comic-Con Museum. It's a place where creativity and imagination come to life, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
Don't let anyone or anything make you believe you are stuck.
There is always another way.
Keep pressing on and find it.
