A lot of the talk about periods focuses on the people who're actually going to get them. Not so fast! says Deirdre Kaye. "A quick Google search on the topic suggests that, as a society, we aren't prioritizing teaching cisgender boys about periods — and we absolutely should be," she writes. "Although there are many different opinions about when, how, or even why this conversation should be happening, the topic of talking to boys about periods does fortunately seem to be increasing."
