The living arrangement for this, unwed, woman who's aging into her, elderly years, on living that life of leisure, of one's own, desires, having a place to call one's, own…translated…
Reasonably, so Long as We Have a Place to Shelter Ourselves from the Rain, that Should be, Satisfying, Enough, But on Occasions, I'd Still, Envied Those with, Two Separate, Homes………
Although, material wealth is something you can't, take with you, but as we are living, we still, pursued the fames and fortunes just the same. Although, there are, hundreds and thousands of mansions, we only take up that bed space at night, but, there are still, more who are willing, to spend all the money, on a bigger, more-than-necessary, place to rest at night, and, some had even owned, up to, three properties. And, those of my generation usually, set the goals of life as purchasing a property, and, yet, reasonably, having a roof over our heads would be, more than, enough, but, I'd still, felt a bit, envious of those, who have, two homes, they're, really, with the, foresights.
At a casual conversation, I'd, blurted out that my youngest sister had a small mansion in Bitan, Hsintien, my friend's eyes glowed, and, asked me to relay the message to my youngest sister, that she was willing to, rent the place for a high price. My friend lived in the U.S. many years after her husband had died, she'd, come back to her, roots, "can't imagine, how unfriendly the rental market is, toward us, elderly." I'd, gone with her on house hunting. and soon as the landlords asked her age, they'd all, appeared, difficult, and used an assortment of reasons ,to turn her, away, even as she'd shown that she is still quite agile and healthy, there's no way, of turning the landlords' beliefs of elderly who lives alone would have a ton of problems, she couldn't help but feel sad, that she couldn't act like some major star who'd, thrown the money down on renting a room out of a five-star hotel, nor did she want to go to an assisted living home that's, off-the-maps, and so, she can, keep on, drifting from place to place, until, she dies, seeking and searching, endlessly.

Later, she'd reconnected with a fellow classmate from college, and learned that she's living alone too, other than her home, there's a studio where she paints in, that she stays in the two places, running around to and from, my friend made a visit to her, and, tried using the persuasions, begged the classmate to take her, a "homeless" former classmate in, that she could stay with her, as her, companion, a sort of an elderly caring for an elderly, and after the emotional appeals my friend used, the classmate was finally, sold on the, idea.
While when my youngest sister bought that tiny mansion in the Bitan rural areas, her actions were perceived by us as being, unnecessary, she and my second younger sister were both unmarried, and lived in the yolk area of Taipei with our parents, with her way of getting around town very easily by public transportation, the three of us sisters who are married, already, signed the waiver to our parents' inheritances, I really don't know what she has to, worry, about? My youngest sister explained, that she and her two best friends decided to purchase the model homes of a community, that they will be having the slumber parties, the weekend sleepovers from here on out. On the one hand, she believed that real estate is a good investment, and once her mind's set, she'd started, saving up, and paid the construction costs regularly, waited until their new home is built, she looks down her higher floor apartment on the air force military cemeteries, although it wasn't like the poet's descriptions.
During the period when my parents were, gravely, ill, the five of us sisters, took turns caring for them, and my youngest sister still, said that she's younger, and more able-bodied, and took more than her share, at the same time, she had the most amounts of, stresses on her, when she wasn't on duty, she'd, always stayed at her mansion in Bitan, called it her "charger station", allowing the greens of nature, to cleanse her tired soul and heart, after she'd recharged, she's, up and at it again, and continued to help caring for our parents day and night. At the same time, she and the other two musketeers are still, connected, even if one of them had married and started a family, and bought an extra mansion next to hers, they'd continued their slumber parties on the weekends.
Everybody lives every day, every season, but, having two separate stays, they all had an extra place to go to, for the singles or the married too. No need for too huge a space, old or new it doesn't really matter, so long as the place gives us a temporary change of attitude, life is colorful, and, there would be, the unexpected, gains, for instance, accidentally, becoming, a landlady.
This is, the alternative of life that one has found, and, there's, the options of this woman having her "extra home" that she can go to, to get away from the day-to-day grind, and this is something amazing, because, sometimes, we all, need to, switch to a, different state of mind, and if we can't stuck in just one place, then, we get, stuck in the state of mind we want to, escape from, so having that extra place somewhere else, away from our regular homes, is a, good idea, given that we made enough money for one.
