The dirty laundry in politics, the money laundering, the embezzlement of the election campaign donations, the kickbacks given by the candidates to the constituents to buy their, votes, it's completely, messy here, call this, a conclusion, a summary result of the case of the TTP's campaign fund schemes that got busted, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
There'd been, the heated news of the political funds from the TPP being falsely reported. First, the chairman of the party, Ke led the campaign teams in a press conference, "this is a misunderstanding, there's no encroachment!", that all the problem came because of the accountants' not wanted to pay, it's their fault that they'd overlooked the completely sums in tallying up. Afterwards, the accountant, Duan made a statement, claiming, that all the paperwork done by the firm was by the book of the law, that he's sure, that the investigators will get to the bottom of it all, and give him back his, reputation.

And at the same time, the deeply connected to the TTP publicist, "Mu-Ke Publicist" announced, that it's halting the operations of the agency temporarily, and conducting a sum of all the earnings, that the company will donate everything it'd earned as profit to not-for-profit organizations. Then the investigators swiftly sent out the affidavits to search and to interrogate all members, including the accountant, Duan, the head of finances, Lee, the C.E.O. publicist, Lee, are all on flight restriction and out on bail.
Let's cast aside the truth of what's behind all the messes of the books of the TPP, from what's been disclosed by the news media press, it'd made people realize, the democratic elections ARE, a good way to make the money off of! It's no wonder, that all politicians are going all OUT in campaigning, because, there'd been many politicians who'd struck gold from the money game of elections, and who doesn't want a share of that pie?
The Taiwanese democratic elections had never been about the policies nor the capabilities of the candidates, but on the sales techniques and performance skills on stage, blackening the opponents names, the ability to spread the rumors around. And so, the exposure ratings, the on first sight impressions became, all that matters, and all of these, needed the enormous funding to do.
Whether it be ads, endorsements, the campaign trails, the candidates spent all the money in these, and behind all of this, is the enormous collusion of power and money. And we don't benefit anybody else but our own selves, the results that came naturally is, setting up the firms from one's own supporters, to take the cases from one's own parties, and once the agreements of the costs had been set, who cares if the books were untrue, this became, a blackhole of the elections, rarely anybody asks about it, this way, it don't matter if the candidates win or lose the races, s/he wins out just the same!
And of course, how far can "our own" extended up the chain of command, it's varied by party and by candidate, but, the working means are, exactly, the same. And so in Taiwan, these "parasites of democracy", and the "white gloves of elections" are too numerous to count up, all of these individuals live off of the elections, made money from the elections, and if they'd lost the elections, they simply, run with the money; and if they win, they will, do it again, and what awaits is the lifetimes' worth of wealth. How can this form of democracy, not be what everybody wants?
And there's still, NO sense of moral responsibilities, based off of this, and all that matter is, how much money in my (the candidate, the party, the endorsers, etc., etc., etc.) pockets, and we do NOT care about anything, BUT more money coming in, from the donations of our campaign supporters, the more the better, and, we don't' use the donated funds for the election, we just, write it up as such, because, nobody's going to check, nobody will, call us out on it, and that, is how the politics worked here, there, and everywhere else in the world, because it's all about, M-O-N-E-Y!
