I'm officially done with my first month of law school.
WHAT? Let me repeat that - I'm a 1/4 of the way through my first semester of law school.
I can't believe how quickly time has flown by and I do have a few quick updates before I begin to get back into the habit of creating more in-depth posts about life as a non-traditional law student.
1st update: I was elected by my peers to be one of three 1L Senators in our law school's Student Bar Association (SBA)! I'm beyond honored to represent our class and was so fortunate to win one of 3 spots out of the field of 18 amazing candidates who took part in the week-long campaign.

2nd update: I'm officially part of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and will be getting initiated on September 12th. This organization and its members have already been so welcoming and informative in my first weeks of law school and I'm beyond thrilled to be counted as one of the "PAD" family of future law professionals.
Overall, there have been so many amazing things happening in my little bubble–not to mention the FUN we're having in Knoxville as a family! I'll have more updates soon so subscribe to the blog and get ready for all kinds of updates on the family, the law school journey, and all kinds of adventures in-between.
