1 Corinthians 2 verse 4:
V4 "My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and power",
Faithfulness rests in the Absolute Sovereignty of God, that He will accomplish His Will.
There will always be mixed reception for the preaching of God's Word. The world is not dying to hear the message of the Gospel, it is dying in it's sin. The world is predisposed to resist the Gospel, because the Gospel calls for the greatest change people can experience in their lives – from darkness to light.
Faithfulness in ministry is the proclamation of God's Word, prayerfully and in the demonstration of the Spirit's Power. Ministry is nothing unless it is done through the Power of The Holy Spirit. There is nothing of ourselves people could possibly want, but a demonstration of how our lives have been transformed from darkness to light.When The Apostle Paul was speaking in, 1 Corinthians 2 verse 4 and 5 {Paul speaking}
V4 "My speech and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and power",
V5: "so that your faith might not be based on man's wisdom but on God's power."
There is no chief cook and bottle washer in the Kingdom of God. as we look at 1 Corinthians 3 verse 7 to 9 ;
"So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth; "
V8 "Now the one who plants and the one who waters are equal, and each will receive his own reward according to their labor."
V9 "For we are God's co-workers. You are God's field, God's building."
Success in the numbers of those who hear the message, and come to follow Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend}, is actually the work of God. who draws people to Christ Jesus, by His Holy Spirit. John 6 v44.
There is no striving in the kingdom of Heaven, everything w have came through the Gift of God's grace, which is really 'unmerited favor at Christ expense'.
Faithfulness is walking in our new resurrection walk. we have died to self to come alive in Hi,. Now through the power of The Holy Spirit, we are able to achieve great things for the Kingdom of god. We have been transformed from the Kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of God and it's Glorious Light.
Let us all walk faithfully and as the word says in, 2 Corinthians 6 verse 2: "Look, now is the acceptable time: look, now is the day of Salvation."
Seek the Lord, for this newness of life. seek the Lord and live in His faithfulness, "The Absolute Sovereignty That He Will Accomplish His Will", through all those who accept.
God Bless.
