(If) My people who are called by My Name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
Humble is not a word that is prominent these days, one meaning of the word is:
Modest and aware of one's failings.
The best way to bring us back to this point is to remember. Romans 3 verse 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Yes we are saved after we accept Christ Jesus, but we remain people who are capable of sin. That is where we need The Lord's help.
Humility has been referred to as bridle strength, to know who we are sinners saved by grace and to know the power available to us through Christ Jesus Our Lord and Friend.
PRIDE is a sin and holds back blessing that our Lord would like to share with us. Pride would hold back currents of personnel and community revival that He has given to us.
PRAY Talk with Our Lord and Friend regularly asking Him to help us to be a fervent witness to others and help bring revival to our nation.
SEEK HIS FACE Get serious about your relationship with Our Lord and Friend, seek to draw closer to Him in everything you do.
TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS Remember we have all sinned, and that sin stops the Glory from being shown in our lives.
1 John 1 verse 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Keep short accounts always be open with Our Lord and Friend.
The promise if we are humble, do pray, do seek His Face and turn from sin.
