1. The insurance company unexpectedly picked up the full tab for the daughter's major dental work. That was a delightful surprise!
  2. The furnace is fixed. Guy came this morning. Very helpful in our decision whether to fix or replace. On his way out he swooned over the puppy. I, helpfully, pointed out that puppies make excellent early Christmas gifts! (maybe a sale?)
  3. My hair is less frizzy. I don't know why but yesterday it was a giant shrub atop my head waving its fluffy, floaty fronds about me as I moved. Today, it is (almost) back to normal. I have my peripheral vision back. Nice.
