Matt and Nina from the Cambridge Street Collective are staging an event on Wednesday 2 February to discuss their vision for a new food hall and community hub.
It is anticipated that the project, which goes live in 2023, will see recruitment opportunities for people from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds.
Background
The Heart of the City is set to get a new food hall by the team behind Kelham's Cutlery Works, The Milestone Group.
Cambridge Street Collective will join Leah's Yard as part of Sheffield city centre's redevelopments, bringing its heritage back to life and it will be in safe hands.
The Milestone Group have become one of the cities leaders in the hospitality sector since opening up The Milestone. The group have also opened Craft & Dough and Inc before they launched Cutlery Works, a food hall full of cuisines from around the world.
Cambridge Street Collective will share a similar vibe and more as the 2 story venue will be the second home for the highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant Joro.
Along with independent restaurants and bars, Cambridge Street Collective will also include a cookery school, pop-up events and a broadcast studio.
