Digital manga subscription service Azuki and comics publisher ABLAZE have announced that the manga series Cagaster and Crueler Than Dead will be available in their entirety on Azuki's service. ABLAZE publishes both series in print and digital formats. The first chapter of each series is available on Azuki right now for users worldwide (except Japan), and new chapters for both will go live every week until they are complete.

In Cagaster, a disease transforms its victims into cannibalistic insects and decimates human society. Bug hunter Kidow and his newfound friend Ilie struggle to survive in this brutal new world, while delving into the mysteries of the plague and its causes. The series is six volumes long.

Crueler Than Dead is a fast-paced and violent zombie action series inspired by the works of Katsuhiro Otomo and The Walking Dead. When Maki Akagi wakes up in a lab full of corpses, she learns that she is the result of an experiment to cure humans of a virus turning them into zombies. Can her newfound powers save humanity? The series is two volumes long.

The first chapter of each series is currently available for free with ads. Starting with Chapter 2, each week's new chapters will be exclusively available for Azuki Premium members for the first week, after which they will be made available for free with ads for a week-long promotional period. After that, they'll be Premium-only again.

"These new series bring Azuki's list of publishing partners up to six," said Azuki CEO Abbas Jaffery. "We're excited to work with ABLAZE to offer more complete series and free, ad-supported chapters on Azuki."
