It is the hardest job. Ever.

Without any compensation, you give your whole self, you give even when you have nothing left to give. You give even when you feel empty inside. All you do is give.

They say that as parents, we are not supposed to give them everything on a silver platter.

I firmly believe in this.

But I also do believe we must give them all the support, whether they fail or succeed.

Let them feel the pain of falling, but be there beside them on the ground, eye level, ready to eat dust with them on a paperplate.

The world is theirs to conquer, and it would be so much easier for them to know in their hearts that no matter what, we will be there. Body and soul.
