God executed his plan of salvation
Obedience of Jesus made it possible
Our Lord felt abandoned at the garden of Getsemane
Drops of blood flowed down as he was scourged at the pillar

For our sake he wore the crown of thorns and carried the cross
Rising again after a fall only to be nailed to the cross
In his suffering he chose to forgive
Died on the cross while his mother wept at his feet
And purified us of our sins by washing us with his blood
Yes, we are now saved, our Lord paid the price for our salvation
