It takes one day to be present. The moment your focus is on tomorrow, it has already robbed today. Tomorrow takes advantage of today, making it the priority, and not being fully present in today. Throughout your life, what has been your greatest achievement? And when you answer, ask yourself how did you gain that achievement - was it focusing on the next years that are ahead, or was it to focus on the day in front of you?
The greatest joy you can give and gift yourself is to focus on one day at a time - my latest book Abundant Progress reminds readers that maximising the gradual steps of the journey isn't to be forfeited or looked down on. You don't need the unnecessary pressure of being someone you are not, or trying to create a crowd for others to see your value. Don't you already see what you have within?
What have we learnt these past two years of Covid-19? We have learnt not to succumb to what we see but what we have been gifted with and make sure we work at it in confident joy and the expectation of knowing that it will flourish in due season.
You are abundantly progressing one day at a time - take each day and moment seriously and enjoy what the day is teaching you. Your present season is preparing you for a better tomorrow, if you allow today to be today and tomorrow to be tomorrow.
