Sometimes, it is easy to assume that keeping silent is the best way to avoid any form of conflict or confrontation. No matter who you are in life and what you're going through, there will come a point where silence can't always be the answer. It takes a great level of confident boldness to step out of the silence and do more with our lives, rather to be stagnant and hide for fear of failure or missing out.
We ought to examine and understand why staying silent shouldn't be an attitude we entertain, rather, we learn to confront them with a healthy motive and willingness to learn from what the season is teaching us. You may be in a season right now that is causing uncertainty, fear and being in the controlling seat where everything has to work the way you want it to, however, it eventually causes delay and makes it difficult to see the road ahead. When emotions and anger starts to emerge, it's easy to speak from a place of pain rather than to take the time to pause, reflect on what you say and then speak with words of wisdom rather than destruction.
Let's use these last few months in 2023 to understand the areas in our lives that make us feel we aren't doing 'enough' or the false conception of having to work more in order to be accomplished. When you stay silent on what you've been through, you're holding other people's destinies, making it easy for them to also settle and stay comfortable. There is a time and season to position yourself and become the person you've been call to be.
Don't allow the hurt of the past or what you're currently going through to make you keep silent and stay broken. You have every right to get back up and keep persevering. Don't stay still because society or your environments wants you to be. Until you move, nothing changes. Be the change and inspiration you want to see in your generation and make it count. Every day we have on earth is extremely precious and nothing we've been through will be wasted.
Now to a new week; let this week cause you to triumph and become greater than you were yesterday. Let those hurtful moments break the silence, causing you to be a blessing to someone who needs to read this blogpost for their season to change.
You are at the right place and at the right time.
Yours Sincerely,
Woman's Worth Conference Group.
