Luke 17 Verse 4: "When Jesus saw them. He said. 'Go, show yourself to the Priests', and as they were on their way. They were healed."
WE write on it regularly Faith is an Action. This story teaches us these three things.
First: The answer comes quickly; other times it comes slowly step by step. This Scriptures tells us, As they went they were cleansed. sometimes we don't know which step will bring the Answer. Why did Jesus tell them to see the priest, because the Law of Moses dictated that, the priest must pronounce the leper clean.
The times this happened they were still under the law, the law was not fulfilled til Jesus death, so Jesus was instructing them to fulfill the law.
Second: Don't give up because others reject you. as a social outcast. These men were expecting Jesus to treat them accordingly. Are we struggling with a problem that cause others to look the other way? Well Our Lord and Our Friend will not do that. John 6 Verse 37: The One who comes to Me I will never cast out".
Third: Always remember to thank and praise God. One of the lepers returned to give thanks. When we realize how much our thanks means to Our Lord and Our Friend, we will never let a day go past without praising and worshiping Him.
Faith requires an action. 1; To Do. 2 To never give up. 3. Always be thankful for what the Lord has done for us.
God Bless.
