Hello one and all!

Are you ready for half term?  It seems to have crept along very quickly in my view.  My son started a new school in September, and in a good way, it feels like he has always been there.

We are thrilled to bring this wonderful retreat to you from Ludo Partner, Jo Darling.  She is running a retreat in the New Year.  You can read more here, and learn a bit about the last retreat to get a flavour of the goings on!

In addition, Jo is running a Chinese New Year Celebration.  You can read more here: Chinese New Year Celebration 2024.  Have a look if you would like to dive into some Chinese Medicine Wisdom.

Last week was Baby Loss Awareness Week and we have a blog for you with a few links and how to support anyone affected.  I had 2 miscarriages and know the pain was unbearable at the time.  Losing a baby late in pregnancy or after birth doesn't even bear thinking about.  I have friends who have suffered terrible loss and I know as a community, we can all be there to support.  It is such an important topic, and often there is stigma attached.  I am sending love and light to anyone who has been affected by baby loss.

We have a guest blog from I am Arla sharing how we can foster a safe space in the workplace, and recognise how gender based trauma impacts productivity.

Finally, Ludo is beyond excited to be hosting a Global DEI Conference at the end of November. Bringing together voices from around the world, working in the DEI space, our mission is to educate, inform and expand minds to learn and grow.

Have a wonderful rest of the week and half term.

Fostering safe spaces by supporting women's mental health in the workplace

Gender-based trauma is a pervasive issue that affects 1 in 3 women worldwide. Classified as encompassing various forms of abuse, discrimination, and systemic inequalities that disproportionately affect women and marginalised groups, gender-based trauma has repercussions that extend beyond personal lives into the workplace.
