Because the opportunistic country wants to continue to SELL the ARMS to the countries at war, to continue to make the huge profits, with a TOTAL DISREGARD of the lives of people being lost, and, the U.S. should BE TRIED for the WAR CRIMES of the Gaza Strips, for voting NO on trying to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strips, this is just too, FUCKED (don't pardon my "French" here) up, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
U.S. Claimed that a Ceasefire Would Benefit the Hamas, Palestine Criticized that this was a War Crime, China Said it was Deeply Disappointed, Reuters: U.S Had Caught itself in a Diplomatic Isolationism
The U.N. Security Council took a vote on the eighth of the United Arab Emirates proposal to ask for a humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strips, and the final results were, thirteen yes from the member countries, and, the permanent members, the U.S., voted no, and Great Britain forfeited on the votes, the ceasefire didn't pass. Reuters reported, that U.S., to protect only ONE of its allies, had put itself into, the diplomatic isolationism.
CNN and the Agence France-Presse reported on the eighth, that the draft of this bill was written by the U.A.E., which wasn't a member of the council, representing Arab nations and Islamic country's asking, demanded that the Israeli and Palestinian armed group, Hamas to immediately ceasefire, to immediately release all prisoners of war, with no strings attached, and to ensure the humanitarian efforts to be able to enter into the Gaza Strips. The representative of U.A.E. stated it bluntly, "if we can't work together, to demand the ceasefires on the Gaza Strip, what kind of messages are we sending to the Palestinians? And, what sort of a message are we, sending to all the civilians in the global community?"
here's the ACTUAL footage of U.S. voting NO, from YouTube
Before U.A.E. sent in the drafted bill, the secretary of U.N., Guterres on the sixth, quoted the constitution of the U.N., the ninety-ninth, formally asked the U.N. to pay heed to how the Israeli-Hamas War had already threatened the peace and safety of the global community, this was the very first time that this former P.M. of Portugal asked for the members' to come to an full understanding since 2017 he'd become a representative to the U.N. for Portugal.
The U.S. and Israel are both in objection of the ceasefire, claimed, that this only benefitted the Hamas. The American representative to the U.N., Wood stated, that U.A.E.'s bill was imbalanced, and not factual, that it wouldn't have any, practical function, that the asking of the bill would not be effective, and it will only sow the seeds for the next Israeli-Palestinian War. Before the votes, the U.S. had asked the wordings of the bill to be amended, including the part of how the Hamas on October 7th had suddenly, raided Israel, and other parts.
The representative from Palestine, Mansour described the voting results as disastrous, that the lives of millions of Palestinians are on the line. And their lives are, equally sacred, worth saving too. While the Hamas criticized U.S.'s voting no to be immoral and inhumane. The chair of the self-government of Palestine, Abbas criticized U.S. had committed the war crimes, that the U.S. must shoulder the responsibilities for the bloodshed of the civilians of the Gaza Strip.
The representative of Israel, Erdan thanked U.S. for voting nay. He'd stated, that unless all the hostages get released, and Hamas completely, wiped out, will the Israeli armed forces stop fighting. The Chinese representative, Zhang stated, that the rough draft of this bill was proposed by close to a hundred countries including China, and called out to the authorities, to give the Palestinian the hopes to keep on living.
As the conflicts between Palestine and Israel had begun, the U.N. Security Council had voted for SIX times on the matter, and the only bill that passed, was the November 15th, number 2712 bill, which called out to the ceasefire for humanitarian reasons at the Gaza Strip, for the humanitarian space be set up, the U.S., Great Britain, and Russia, who all had the right to vote no all forfeited the votes. Based off of estimates, there'd been at least 17,487 lives which had been killed, and more than 46,000 people injured.
Of course, the U.S. is voting no, because, stopping this "conflict" meant, that there would be NO more money to be made from the arms sold to the war zones, and, because these countries only cared about their own individual benefits (how much money can we make, and how would a ceasefire work in our favor: it won't!), so of course, we're voting, NO, and we do NOT care who dies in the warzones, because it's not in our backyards, NOT our, problems! That, would be the mindset that the U.S., and the countries that followed the U.S.'s lead in voting NO for the ceasefire in the Gaza Strips.
