This is, WHAT this DDP government is, EXCELLENT in, squandering away the taxpayers' money, and not put the tax dollars to, good use, and they still, hadn't, LEARNED their needed, lessons yet! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
To save the lower birthrates, to change the public nursery being not enough, the president elect, Lai, in his time as the head of Executive Department, duplicated the publicized private preschool that he'd started up in Tainan as he was the mayor there from before, proposed the means of public preschool system, but, in the short six years, he'd, poured forty billion dollars, and not only was he not able to save the lowered birthrates, not considering the quality of early childhood education, it'd caused the public nurseries to increase over ten times. This caused the enrollment rate to drop sharply down a cliffside for the public nursery programs, causing crises in operating of the private nurseries, and totally, destroyed the quality of early childhood, education altogether.
In his term as the head of legislature, Lai proposed the "preschool system going public" program, with the rates of charge set by the government, so long as the individual directors of the schools kept to the standards, then, the schools can receive the assistance from the government, on the basis of "entering into the public nursery programs".
And, the number of preschools "entering into the public nursery programs" started off in the two hundreds, and, increased to close to two thousand schools, and, the number had, increased tenfold on the surfaces, and it seemed, that the parents have more selections for the affordable preschools for their young, and yet, the Department of Education did NOT keep their inventories taken, correctly, nor did it consider the balancing of the regional of the various districts either, causing the over enrollment rates of the schools in Taipei, Hsinbei, as well as Kaohsiung, with not enough instructors per classroom.
As the reduction of birthrate became, a national crisis, how to improve the early childhood education environments, to provide the parents with the sound of mind, to put their young into the programs, is the issue that Lai can't evade from answer as he takes office. With the new agreements of the public nursery programs about to get signed into effect, the Department of Education should take the time to, evaluate, switch to a working means, and quickly, post the ways that will work, to NOT leave the directors of these, programs, hanging out to dry.
And so, this is, how lacking the early childhood public programs set up by the DDP government is, and once more, the political party got too far ahead of itself, like in everything this party had been doing, only saw the possibilities, not considered the means of whether or not the proposals are going to work, and they're all still, making the empty promises to the, voters here.
