On the IDIOTS who'd broken the laws in Cambodia, to shoot the FAKE abduction videos, and there should, BE the LAWS, restricting the famed online persons from breaching the laws, but, how to do it that it doesn't go against the freedom of speech, that's what's needed to weigh and measure, closely…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The famous Youtuber went to Cambodia to film the fake chases and fake abduction, other than being issued the fines, they also, received two years sentences; the local governor, the former P.M, and the current P.M. of Cambodia are all angered by this, and, the chances of these two young men's returning to Taiwan to serve out their sentences aren't high, and even as they got down on their knees, begged for mercy, it wouldn't work.
As the world grows more disgusted over the Southeast Asian telecommunications scam, and trafficking of human organs, these two Taiwanese nationals openly tried to get more hits on their YouTube channel by the falsified videos of them getting abducted in Cambodia, this not just destroyed Cambodia's international reputation, and it'd also, hit Cambodia where it'd hurt the most, and at the same time, the incident had greatly impacted how the world viewed people from Taiwan, to the point of the incident, extending to destroying the diplomatic ties that Taiwan had with, Cambodia too.
youtuber, breaking the law...photo from online
There was the earlier incident where a YouTuber opened up the foods in the supermarkets, then putting the items back onto the shelves, along with opening up the packaging, then putting them back onto the shelves, to earn the number of hits on their channels. This sort of a I can-care-less attitude, totally disregarding the rights of other consumers, and not paying attention to how the bad behaviors had, damaged the stores' reputations, for the sake of the personal benefits of oneself, streaming the videos live, to get the hits.
There were, the Japanese high school students who'd licked the soy sauce bottles, then putting it back, causing the sushi company a loss of 3.5 billion N.T.s, and the company sued the teen and his parents for close to $15 million N.T.s, and, aren't these cases that already happened, not enough, to serve as a warning for all those, famed Youtubers from Taiwan yet? Strictly, opening up the foods packaging, without alerting the shops, then putting it back onto the shelves, this behavior not only cause problems in food sanitation, and was modeled after from the Japanese's criminal, and this is, no doubt, a challenge to public interests now.
A lot of the misdemeanors here in Taiwan, in other countries, are considered felonies, and, the people should, NEVER test the laws, for instance, laundering money in the U.S., is a federal crime, other than the criminal charges, the offenders will get, blacklisted; in Indonesia, smuggling the illegal substances is a serious felony, and the smugglers can get life in prison too easily, even the death penalty too, there'd been many cases of Taiwanese citizens, who'd been found guilty of these; in Thailand, you can disrespect the royalty; in North Korea, you need to show respect for the statues of the leaders; in Singapore, vandalism, even if it's just graffiti on the side of a train, the offender would get sentenced and the whipping. When we travel abroad, we need to learn the means of the countries we are traveling to, what's allowed and what isn't, and the government agencies can also, from time to time, post the statistics of Taiwanese people who'd broken the laws of another country, to warn the people of how many people are being punished, when they'd broken the laws abroad, and how severe the sentencing are.
The online and the self-operated channels, can bring in the incomes and the views in the number of hits; but, the creators of these channels need to be held accountable for the contents they'd posted. The younger generations who are used to living so freely in Taiwan, should KNOW that at the same time, freedom is given, they'd had to, shoulder the responsibilities of abiding the law, this is, the general rules of the world.
Yeah, and this can still be blamed on these, early twenties (they're not considered TEENS, because they're, maturing later, later, and later still by the generations here!) "children's" underdeveloped PREFRONTAL cortexes, and because these days, kids are maturing late, with NO understanding of the law, plus that's how the trend of the world is, we're all, needing the increasing number of HITS on our own private channels, to MAKE more C-A-S-H, to boost our own egos, and that, is what drives this sort of bad behaviors…and now, these "children" who'd broken the laws abroad, will have to serve THEIR hard times in the prisons abroad, and, they DESESRVED exactly WHAT they got!
