Getting PREYED on because of HIS, STUPIDITY, there are still, NO "vics" here, still only just, ABUSESR AND ENABLERS! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
More than hundreds of university age students in the midstrip had, fallen for the false claims of "sign your name and earn $5,000N.T.s", and got trapped into the installment payment scams. The victim, "Wei" said, that he and the person who'd recruited him to sign the deal, Lin were classmates, that the person begged him to help him reach his sales quota by having him purchasing a laptop from him, told him that he will resell the laptop at a higher price, and offered him $5,000N.T. commission, and guaranteed that he wouldn't need to pay a dollar for anything, "because he was my classmate, I'd let my guard down, can't believe he was scamming his, classmates!"
"Wei" who's in the night school department of high school, works daytime in the restaurants, told that Lin was a former classmate of his night school back in high school, and Lin had asked him to sign his name to purchase an Apple laptop, told him that he was going to resell the laptop at a higher price, for getting a commission, he'd even, provided Wei a five thousand dollars N.T. commission, told him that he'd not needed to pay the installments afterwards, and in the end, the loans agency phoned him up for confirmations, Lin told him to tell them "I received the laptop already!"
He said, because he wanted to help out his friend, he'd agreed to, and shortly afterwards, he'd received the payment slips telling him to pay, he'd paid for three installments, and every time at close to $4,000N.T.s, then he'd, called the cops, and afterwards, the loans agency continued to press him, he'd stopped, paying; and the mediation resulted in that he must pay another more than $10,000N.T.s to be off the hook, working part-time, paying his own bills is not easy already, and, although he was upset, but thinking about going to court would be more stressful, he could, only, take the deal offered to him by the loan's agency, he'd learned his lesson the hard way, he will, NEVER again sign as someone else's, collateral, again.
like this??? Photo from online
A second year student and his classmate went to the mediation, told, that he'd heard that his classmate had introduced him to a quick way to make $5,000N.T.'s in commission, signing his name to purchase a laptop of more than $90,000N.T.s, later he'd received the payment notices, and paid for more than $20,000N.T.s, and after the mediations he still had $20,000N.T.s more he had to, pay, that the amount is due by middle of next month, he'd not told his families, and used the allowances to pay, and worked more part-time jobs to make up for the money he'd, lost.
And so, this is, what the scammers are targeting, these young college students, and they get preyed on because they LACKED the worldly experiences, of what the @#$% is going on right now, and, these scammers are still, using GREED, to try and SCAM those, "victims", but, they're not really, "victims" they're all, ENABLERS, and being young and inexperienced made them all into, easy, targets!
