Just how FAR, can "we the people", take our freedom of, expression, without getting, PERSECUTED by our, government? I mean, if I hated a particular candidate too much, I can voice my DESPISE toward him, online, for the whole WORLD to see, and would I be arrested? How about, if someone interprets something a bit, too far, too, seriously? Like using those, racial slurs of calling someone, I mean, most of us would take those slurs as, "jokes", but some of us, take strong offenses, and HOW do we measure what is acceptable, and what, isn't?
here's the photograph that I'd found off of Diane Ravitch's blog here on WordPress.com
Especially with the American Presidential Election coming up in November, there will, surely be, the "dissers" of both sides, trying to sway those who are still, undecided, by stating things that are, or are not, true of the, candidates, right?
So, how FAR, do we take FREEDOM of expression in these, cases, huh? Like how someone spray-painted a portrait of the current president, Biden, tied up and gagged on his back truck bumper, would the person get ARRESTED, for making a THREAT against the president's, life? Then what about the freedom of, expression, huh? What if the person's just, expressing her/himself, and really not intending anything like kidnapping, or gagging the president? Then, would this individual be prosecuted under the laws?
and, here's a photo of some unknown person getting painted on the back bumper, tied up, from online
and so, this one is, better than the one before it, because it isn't the American president being painted??? is that it??? Photo from online
So you see, NO freedom IS, absolute, not even those in the Bill of Rights, they're still all, conditional, with the PRESET of we don't, THREATEN someone else's life, and so, how can that be, absolutely, free, if we have to, watch what we say? Especially when the heat's getting hotter by the day, and, bad words get, blurted out, in moments of our angers, huh???
