Because he's the, CULT leader, and all of his followers, are blind to know right from wrong, as they keep up their support for this, IMMORAL, candidate, or because they're all, REPUBLICAN PARTY supporters, and, they REFUSE to vote for that, "other guy", not that the other guy is capable of running the U.S. either, the worst case of following the leader, from The New York Times that came with today's papers…
Those of us in the anti-Trump camp love to play the Horribleness Game. Donald Trump does something horrible. We are righteously appalled. We send emails to our friends saying, "Did you hear about this horrible thing Trump said?" We click on articles that fulminate against the horrible thing. We watch T.V. shows in which the pundits emote shock and dismay at the horrible thing. We feel very morally superior about ourselves and very morally appalled by that horrible man. It's very satisfying. In fact, it's addictive.
But somehow, the horrible thing—or even the sum total of all the horrible things—never seem to end Trump's career. He's still leading in the polls, especially in swing states. So then we switch to the Wait Until They Know Game. Wait until voters know the latest thing Trump said about immigrants. Wait until voters know what's really in the indictments.
The ultimate dream of these games is that the Trump era will end with some massive moral disqualification. We'll be morally vindicated. They will be morally disgraced. The people who play these games dream of that killer conviction. They dreamed that 14th Amendment clause would disqualify Trump from even being on the ballot.
the contenders of both parties...found online
The problem with these games is they don't work. Trump is in his strongest political position ever. According to the latest New York Times/Siena poll, ninety-seven-percent of the people who voted for Trump would do so again, while only eighty-three-percent of Joe Biden supporters say the same. Biden is losing ground among his most loyal constituency groups. In 2020, Biden won young adults by twenty-four points. He won Hispanics by twenty one points but now trails by six. There used to be a lot more Democrats in this country than Republicans, but now the two parties are tied.
That's because many voters don't see politics as a place to go for moral affirmation. They want to know who will create a good environment in which they can lead their lives, and right now, they trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy, to handle immigration, to be generally competent. It's about policies.
There was a lot to like about Biden's State of the Union address, but the most important thing was this: He understands that if you want to beat Trump, you have to show you have better policies that will improve people's lives. It's less emotionally satisfying, but it's what people actually vote on.
Are you sure about that, I mean, surely, the ECONOMY is important, and, with Trump's beliefs in keeping everything American, surely, everything will go well, business-speaking, everything will get made in America, everything that the households need, manufactured and produced in U.S.A., and, Biden is not that good a choice either, what, with his slow deterioration of his mind, he's already, exerting the signs of Alzheimer's, it's just that in the starting stages of the disease, those who are quite intelligent, can mask it up, and, what do you think the U.S. will become, if you leave the country in the hands of an OLD guy who will eventually, forget his own name, and start to, act inappropriately like he'd done, mistaking someone else's wife as his own like he'd done, from before on that public function that he'd attended, how long ago was it again (feel free find the video from online somewhere), as for the Republicans' putting their support in Trump, yeah, if he were to get on the position to rule again, the U.S. will be, SOLD for SCRAPS, and, and he's going to, pocket all the CASH he'd made from selling the U.S. for scraps, oh, and isn't he also, starting to, exert signs of dementia too (read that from somewhere, and the article was really reserved on saying that Biden and Trump are both DEMENTED, because "we don't want to influence the voters"…), so, come November, the American voters are faced with this decision: Biden, who probably won't be able to keep track of his own underwear (no offense, but that's what it'll get to at the very end!), or do you guys want Trump, who will SELL the U.S. out, I mean, he's already sold OUT, he was the son of an immigrant, and he set up all those, ANTI-IMMIGRANT policies, what the FUCK was that, huh??? And if a man can't even remember WHERE HE came from, then, how the FUCK (don't pardon me!) can WE expect him to do what's right for the people, and don't forget, how he's a BUSINESSMAN and all businesspersons care about, is that BUCK, so, which one do "we" pick, when both roads are going to, lead us, into hell, it's just that on the two paths to HELL, the sights are, different, but still, NOT worth seeing…
