Legend of the Lost Locket - Review
Amelia uncovers that one-half of the True Love's Locket, once belonging to Queen Elizabeth I, is in Wilmaton. Amelia's mother looked for the locket for years before she passed but never found it. The locket belonged to James, a carpenter, who fled to America to become a self-made man and prove to his lover's parents that he was worthy of her. Amelia believed James changed his name to Jacob Jameson and started Wilmaton. She thinks the other half of the locket is there with his descendants. If Amelia can find the locket and prove its providence, she can expand her store in London and fulfill her mother's dream.
Amelia lands in the U.S. and drives to Wilmaton but has car troubles. She calls roadside assistance, but Marcus shows up first. He offers to help, but Amelia fears taking a ride from a stranger. Jack approaches with his tow truck but says it will take time. He assures Amelia that Marcus is a safe companion. And she accepts Marcus's ride to her B&B. The proprietor, Francine, and Francine's daughter, Hannah, give Amelia a brief history lesson about the town.
Francine and Amelia go to the local diner to get more information. Awestruck, Amelia spies antiques littered around the town. Francine introduces Amelia to the ladies of the Historical Society. She offers to appraise some of their items if they can give her access to the town's archives. They sadly report that the archives are closed. However, Mayor Bob could give Amelia access. They question why, but Amelia keeps everything a secret. Amelia worries that treasure hunters will try to beat her to the locket.
Amelia meets with Bob, but he won't open the archives for her. So Amelia's business partner, Rebecca, slyly suggests Amelia break in. Amelia takes Rebecca's advice but unknowingly trips the silent alarm. Amelia stands in stunned silence when Marcus arrests her. He is the town sheriff. Marcus gives Amelia a fine because she didn't steal anything.
After an impromptu town appraisal, Amelia gets a bright idea. She learned that Wilmaton is having a 200th Anniversary Founder's Ball. However, the turnout is bleak. She promises Bob to invite a who's who of antique dealers for two things. First, the town hosts an antique fair for the dealers the day after the ball. Finally, Amelia wants access to the archives. Bob agrees, but Marcus insists on accompanying them to ensure Amelia doesn't steal anything.
Bob, Marcus, and Amelia arrive at the archives. However, the documents are missing. Marcus doesn't tell Bob about catching Amelia the night before. And Amelia promises she hasn't taken them. But Amelia has had a feeling that someone is watching her. Marcus decides to stay by her side to help her find the antiquity, keep an eye on her for theft, and protect her. Can Amelia uncover the locket's lost half without unveiling her motive while falling in love?
Give this movie a series! It has a heartwarming mystery without a murder and a town full of secrets to uncover. Amelia is fun, charming, and clever. Her passion for antiques leaps off the screen. Marcus is a small-town guy who fell in love with Boston but has since returned for his family. He can navigate the town, has connections, and a nose for sleuthing. Marcus and Amelia balance each other out beautifully. And the conclusion will surprise and uplift. This mystery is a marvelous start to something that has glorious potential. Hopefully, this film is the start of something great.

Her realtor warns that the monthly mortgage payment was higher than expected but suggests Jessica rent the spare bedroom to cover the difference. He promises to tell his clients about Jessica's interior design business to help her grow. Jessica meets with her friend, Louisa, and discusses finding a roommate. Louisa offers to help to weed out crazy people. They put an ad online. Jessica finds several candidates, including attorney Sharon, but no one fits.
Alec leaves London after two large men attack him. After he lands in the States, one of the men calls him. Alec lies about his location and looks online for a room to rent. He stumbles across Jessica's ad and applies. Alec looks through the home and loves the room with a private bathroom. He turns up the charm when Jessica asks him to complete a credit report. He says he is new to the U.S. and doesn't have credit. Alex offers to pay two months in advance and the security deposit. Alex worked with famous British singer Preston Black, and now he plans to find local talent once he settles. Louisa, a Preston Black fan, jumps for joy and wants Jessica to accept the offer. Before Jessica agrees, Alec remembers he won't have the money in time. He offers Jessica 1 month of rent and a security deposit, and rent for the next five months after he signs his band in a few weeks. This deal will offer Jessica 6 months of rent in a few weeks. Jessica says yes and relaxes. Jessica will regret it soon.
Jessica is a victim of looks over brains, and Louisa isn't helping. Louisa falls for a name-dropper. She talks Jessica out of trusting her instincts after Alec offers cold-hard cash. Remember Lifetimers: credit checks matter and cash-in-hand is hard to track. Jessica is sharing her home with a con man that doesn't have an end game. He is bitter and jealous of anyone with a happy life. Alex becomes entitled and angry when anyone tells him no. He knows when to turn on the charm and how. But one question viewers will ask: How did he learn American rental law so quickly? You don't feel bad for her predicament because Jessica didn't take the necessary precautions. However, Jessica does warn others about Alec when she discovers the truth. The one shining hero in this movie is Sharon. She will make viewers cheer.

A Model Murder - Review
A Model Murder - Lifetime - 2 hours and 0 minutes
Kara finishes her photoshoot with photographer Dex, and they get a text from Kara's friend, Emily. Someone murdered their friend, Maxine. Kara and Emily meet at Kara's home and watch the news reports. They focus on Maxine's posts on Model Fans. Model Fans is a site for models to connect with their admirers for a price. However, some models post explicit content and webcam videos. As newscasters degrade Maxine's memory, Kara posts an uplifting message about Maxine and focuses on her audition. Emily reads some fan mail and blocks a creepy message from a fan called Blaze. Emily highlights that Kara went up in the site's ratings. Kara believes this will boost her chances at her audition tomorrow.
Kara arrives at the audition, but the casting director wants to see her naked more than her talent. She storms out and calls her manager, Bobby. Bobby informs Kara that her work on the site will garner negative and sexualized roles. Kara threatens to leave, and Bobby drops her. Kara checks her messages and gets another creepy comment from someone called Fireball. She blocks them and goes to the club with Emily. She meets her romantic liaison, baseball player Gabe, in the bathroom. He wants Emily to go on the road with him. However, his comment undermines and disrespects Kara. He grabs her, and she sees the security camera in the bathroom. Kara threatens to make the video public, dumps Gabe, and leaves.
Kara soaks her troubles away in the tub and takes photos for her subscribers. When Rocket sends more creepy messages, she blocks him. Emily calls Kara after speaking to security influencers. As they discuss their options, Kara gets an email from Fortitech security. They want to offer Kara 6 months free to help scrub her information from the internet, but the representative, Cody, wants to meet in person.
Kara meets Cody, and he shows Kara how much information he found about her online after searching for an hour. Kara considers hiring him until Cody victim-blames her. Kara tells Cody off and leaves the building. Kara and Emily meet with potential sponsors, but Kara's stalker hacks their video conference with Kara's private photos. Kara calls Cody, and he apologizes. Kara hires Fortitech and relaxes. She hopes Cody and Fortitech will put an end to her stalker. It is only the beginning.
This movie shows how internet stalking can become dangerous. The stalker can use doxing and swatting to terrorize their victim in the real world. And Kara is under added pressure because of her job. A few models use the site for x-rated imagery, so people cast a shadow on anyone who uses the site legitimately. This site mirrors Only Fans. The cops constantly blame Kara and ignore her concerns. Even when Kara's maid, Beatrice, goes missing, they don't care. It's frustrating to watch Kara put herself in danger to get assistance. However, watching Kara become more trusting in a dangerous predicament is infuriating. Even part-time Lifetimers can see the culprit a mile away. So expect to watch this movie screaming at the screen. Also, viewers must determine if Kara submitted to societal pressure or matured.
