I have been talking about modesty with our daughter. She was wondering why I don't wear tank tops and yoga pants in the front yard. I explained to her that I consider that workout clothing in my gym. I prefer to be dressed appropriately for my body type. I wear a lot of dresses and skirts. At 5 8 and being well-endowed, some fashions can look risque on me. Modesty is a hot-button topic. Feminists will say it doesn't matter what you are wearing, like it or not people judge you on what you wear. Extreme religious groups weaponize modesty. Modesty is about self-respect. I have a much older husband so there are some clothing options I did wear when we first met. Our daughter and I were discussing what is appropriate to wear at certain places, times, etc. A lady should know what to wear where and one. I saw a young girl walking into Walmart yesterday who was applying for a job in flip-flops and PJs. I know she has other clothes.
