So, the government had, learned from the mistakes of its, predecessors, they'd CRUSHED the protests before they got out onto the streets, like back in the Vietnam War Era, in the, 60s, was it??? What had the government learned, about WHAT is right…oh yeah, that would be, NOTHING! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The Ivy League School of Columbia University is the leader of the student peace protests.
The students of Columbia set up the tents on campus, supporting the Palestinian people, objecting to the massacre that Israel is doing in the Gaza Strip, there were over ninety prestigious and famous universities from east to west including Yale, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton; U.C.L.A., U.S.C., U.C.-Berkeley, University of Texas, etc., etc., etc., etc., that had the student-led peace protests, and many universities in Europe too, are now, in the actions of Support Palestine.
The president of Columbia University called in the New York City Police, to the protest sites. On the news, we see the teams of police, shooting the teargas into the crowd of protesters and shooting the plastic bullets at them, using the police batons, to subdue the student protesters, handcuffed to the back, led onto the prisoner transportation buses.
There were three demands made by the protesters: Israel to stop the mass genocide in Gaza, the school's funding be transparent, and not having any dealings with the companies that produced the weapons for Israel, to release ALL the protesters.
the video that compared the two, off of YouTube
The Israeli-Hamas War is criticized by the entire global community now, those Israeli citizens living in Israel had gathered in anger to protest, demanding that the P.M., Netanyahu to stop the military invasions, to get the hostages released. In order to keep his seat as the prime minister, Netanyahu continued to order the bomb raids. The board of trustees of a Jewish representative financial group, holds the famed board of trustees of the Ivy League schools, making the Financial Transparency Act of 2021, dead in the waters. The presidents of both Harvard and University of Pennsylvania, were ousted by the board of trustees for speaking on behalf of the Palestinians.
Over fifty years ago, all over the U.S., the anti-Vietnam War protests were happening, awakening the conscience of the people of the United States. At the time, I was, studying in University of Pennsylvania, and, at the height of the protests, I'd, gone on the marches for the anti-war cause many a times. The Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam on October 15th, 1969, was on a never-before scale. Our group was called the "Asian Caucus", with hundreds of Asian students, called out all the way, to stop the war in Vietnam, to end discrimination. The crowd gathered before the White House, and the total number of protesters was estimated at millions! The anti-war senators, Martin Luther King, Jr., religious leaders, and the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement all took turns speaking.
The famous singer, John Lenon and his wife, Yoko Ono led the protesters to sing, "Give Peace a Chance", and the host while everybody was singing, called toward the White House, "Nixon, are you hearing this?" and everybody was very worked up emotionally then. "The Protesting Asians" got left home on our way back, the police that were ambushing in the park came rushing over, they'd started, using the batons, beaten down the protesters, and the protesters fell to the ground one by one. The group scattered, and many were arrested, and after we were interviewed by the police, we were told to pay a ten-dollar fine, and then, released,
A friend of mine who'd already died, Stanley Karnow, a Pulitzer winner summed up the Anti-Vietnam War Protest of 1969, "this time, the U.S. middle class had shown their focused, serious, almost depressive, sense of, care of the events in Vietnam………"
The anti-Vietnam War students had exited out of the campus, and gotten into the world, educated the vast middle class Americans, they own the most number of votes, and called out in synchrony, to end the war in Vietnam, the major financial supporters, along with the politicians they supported, needed to, listen. And later, as the decision to send the troops to Vietnam, it'd, destroyed the American never-losing record from before.
Comparing the two student led peace protests, in most of the anti-Vietnam War protests, both sides had been, relatively, calm and peaceful. But in this protest against Israel, those in power are forceful, and quick, rushed into the campuses, and arrested thousands of student protesters. The House handed down the severe laws and the majority of the representatives passed the Anti-Semitism Act; any views, actions or verbal means that showed anti-Semitism, discriminatory against the people of Israel and its government would be charged with breaking this law.
The government of the U.S. had always been the major financial groups, over the majority of civilians. The anti-Vietnam War protests, the scales were massive, almost shaken the core foundation of the United States, and this time, the government learned from the previous mistakes, killed off the protests before they'd made their ways, out of the schools and into, the streets.
And so, yeah, you have your freedom of protest, sure, but we the government still have the right, to CRUSH all you little, MAGGOTS who are going against us, like bugs, that, is what this teaches us, and, the current U.S. government had, learned from what happened in the sixties (that was the Vietnam War era, wasn't it???) to CRUSH all these, college student protesters, before they EXITED out of school, and marched down the streets all over the U.S. of A, and, yeah, the freedom of assembly WAS, exercised by the people, sure, but, the efficacy of the freedom of assemble is, nil, because, the government will, CRUSH all those with a difference of opinion than their, like the B-U-G-S.
And that would be, DEMOCRACY in A-C-T-I-O-N, currently in the good ol' glory for ya!
