The things that these political parties need to start getting into their cognitions: the DDP no longer in power, and it has to adapt to how they're now, the MINORITY numbers, the KMT, needs to hasten up, develop that system that work, there won't be a honeymoon phase for the party, to slowly, adjust to, to get, reacquainted to how it works, and all the while, things are still, not getting done…the mess in the legislature, after the transition of powers of the party had, taken place…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The bill to reform the legislature passed its third reading, and this bill to reform the legislature took a whole of four day, four nights, and there's also, the repeated instances of physical altercations in and out of the legislature. Why does a bill that's said to reform the legislature cause such a, response? Although, the KMT and the TTP combined made up the majority of legislature, but they'd not thought delicately enough on how set up the laws technically; while the DDP still operated off the mindset of it being, the majority, couldn't learn to compromise, and work together. After four rounds of battling between the political parties, the parties had learned and taught one another, a valuable, lesson.
Recalling back to the original thought of this wave of change in the legislature, it'd begun, with the recruit from the TPP, Huang raising that "Legislative Reform" banner up high, tossing the question to the KMT, and the DDP; and, with Han getting elected as the head of legislature, it'd become, the very first, cooperative bill that's passed three rounds of voting proposed by both the KMT and the TPP.
Although the DDP claimed to the outside that "no discussion means NO democracy", but this bill had gone through one specialist report by the committee of the legislature, two public hearings, a mediation of the commissions. But, the KMT's not demanding that the head of legislature, Han to call on the discussion forums, sent it straight into, voting, attempted to pass the bill before May 20th, before the newly elected president gets sworn into office, it'd showed how the KMT was way too eager to, get ALL of the party's upset for being crushed for the past eight whole years out. But this, hurrying along, the DDP caught the KMT in not following the right procedural, to the DDP calling out the citizen groups, to take over the legislature.
The DDP propped itself up to the outside to show that it'd "wanted to discuss the matters", but in the justice committees, it'd kept issuing the procedural right to speak, asked for the dismissals in the motions forty whole times, with absolutely NO intentions for discussion in the first place; the KMT can't do a thing, and, just, pushed the bill through to voting, but didn't consider that this highly debatable political bill, needed the careful means of negotiation, using the past cases of ECFA, and the precedence of the Prospective bill, the wordings of these bills simpler, and the discussions were held in the temporary meetings that can be sorted through overnight, that was how these bills, got quickly signed into, effect.
As the bill entered into the floor, the KMT and the TPP's proposals for the amendment of the bill had thirty three motions, with the add on by the DDP, to sixty nine motions total, and the process of calling out the votes, signing of the votes, and other forms of stalling, causing the bill to get left on the back burner for days, and as the legislators became too stuck, it'd given the DDP the time, to get a massive number of supporters to back up their, cause.
Toward the fight of the citizen groups, the KMT, to prevent another replay of the "Sunflower 2.0", started producing the propagandas of the simplistic legislature reform edicts. After yesterday's meeting, finally, an agreement on the reform of the legislature was, met. The KMT and the TPP also, called out that they will be amending the NCC organization laws, the whistleblower protection laws, etc., etc., etc., and, the duels of the majority and the minority will repeat endlessly. After the DDP lost majority, it'd, hit a wall, with the baggage of the president, in the futures, it will, need to, think hard on the possibilities of "communication with the majority". If the political parties can learn from their mistakes, then, the war of legislature reform will then not be, wasted.
And so, this is, on how the DDP feels awful, that they'd now, lost the majority in the legislature, and it's still, adapting to this, not being in control of everything in the lawmaking proceedings, while the TPP and the KMT, is still new to this, legislature working means, and so, they all need to, learn the tricks of the trades in the shortest time possible, otherwise, all those proposed bills, are, all going to become, scraps, shredded papers, and this is, the period after the honeymoon phase is, over. When the reality is hitting, hard!
