A male student in an unnamed high school in Taipei was caught, filming the girls' restrooms, and sending the videos to his friends to view, the victim was told by a classmate, and, called the police. The police took the male student who was involved in, he'd admitted to secretly filming, claimed that he'd deleted the footages already, the police confiscated his phone, and found no footages in the files, and charged the adolescent male on prevention of exploitation of children and adolescent.

The parents of the victim accused, that the male student had committed this crime for as long as three whole years, and leaked out the footages too, causing the female student to be psychologically and physically, traumatized, and the school only gave the perp two minor written reprimands, the parents suspected that the school was trying to sweep the incident under the rug. The school stated yesterday, that soon as they'd found out, they'd immediately intervened to handle the matter, that the minor written reprimand was based off of the regulations of the school, that they'd now, amended the punishment to make it, more severe.
Based off of understanding, the male student had secretly filmed the female students going to the restrooms, then streamed the footages live, two of the female students were told by others last November 2nd, that the videos of them going to the restroom had streamed live online, the victims told the instructors, and the parents, that's how this case came out.
At first, the male student denied the allegations, and until the other classmates told, that they'd seen the multiple photos and footages of women being filmed without their consent on his cell phone, did the male student admit it, but claimed that all the footages, and the photos had been, deleted.
The parents of the victim felt bad for their daughter being psychologically traumatized, that she's still being treated by the psychiatrist to this very day, that the perp had been secretly filming for as long as three whole years, that nobody found out, the parents suspected that the school and the fellow classmates had covered up the male student's bad behaviors.
The school told, soon as they'd learned, they'd initiated the gender equality board investigations, three of the committee members were form outside of the school; at the time, the committee recommended giving the perp the written reprimands, but based off of the "student rewards and punishment implementation regulation" that was in place back then, the behaviors of the male student only gained him a minor written reprimand, but due to the extent of his criminal behavior, the school changed the punishment to two minor reprimands.
The police stated, that the incidents happened between January and June of last year, at the time, the perp was seventeen, suspected of taking his cell phone to the girls' restrooms, and, slipping the phone through the cracks to capture the girls going, then, sent the video to two other male students to watch; the victims reported to the police in November of last year.
The police came to the school and arrested the male student, searched his residence. The male student admitted to filming the female classmates going to the restrooms, but not recalled the dates, and had deleted the footages afterwards, that he'd given the cell phone he'd used to film to a relative to use, and bought a brand new phone for himself. The police examined his two old cell phones, and there were no footages on there, and there's no other victims who'd come forth, they'd charged the adolescent male on child and adolescent exploitation.

The school stated, that the school rules were amended this year, that if a major gender equality incident occurred, there can be a major reprimand given, and the perp is currently in police custody, no longer in attendance, the school is also, offering counseling to the victims, giving them the support they needed.
The Department of Education told, that the results of the Gender Equality Commissions report had been sent to the student who had offended on January 22nd, in thirty days, it can be contested, the male student didn't contest. The Department of Education already demanded that the school reinforce the gender equality trainings, the legal counsels of what will happen to the perp, to prevent similar situations from recurring.
And this is still??? Oh yeah, a SLAP on this FUTURE SEX OFFENDER's wrist, I mean, there's NO charges that can be placed on this teenage BOY who'd peeped into the ladies room when they all "went", because he's a MINOR, and, expelling him, giving him those stupid written reprimands, do what again??? Absolutely NOTHING, which teaches this perp what?
