Doesn't this remind you all of, the LAST guy that was in office, Donald Trump??? And yet, we the people, still voted this, mother @$%#ING (maxed out!) bully, authoritarian political party into office again, so, W-H-O-S-E fault it that, huh??? How it's okay when he and his political party does it, but when another party or another person from the oppositions do it, he'd, hammered them, down, this IS, double-standard! In the Past, Lai Had Refused to Get into the Legislature to Attend the Council Meetings for 232 Days, Today, He'd Declared WAR on the Parties Not in Power, the President Who'd Become, Too Stubborn in His Own Ways Needed to Get Evaluated
On August fourth, 2015, the Examination Department passed the votes to impeach the then mayor of Tainan, Lai. Primarily, due to how he'd been invited by the Tainan City Council, but emotionally blackmailed the city council, that if they don't drop the case of encroachment against Lee, the head of the city council of Tainan, or he wouldn't, enter into the city council. And now, the president once again, used the current passed amendment, interpreted it as "expansion of power, unconstitutional", refused to go into the legislature to hear the goings on of the reports by the officials on the government.
this is what I found on MSN, when I searched for "corruption in the presidency"...
Lai started the precedence of "the officials boycotting entering into the meetings", and in the end, he was, warned. The reason for impeachment by the Examination Department believed, he'd broken the local governing systems law, that he'd gone against democracy and what's ruled by law, that he'd, attacked the system of the constitution.
At the time, the Examination Department also mentioned, that the responsibility of the right to legislate, wasn't that Lai told Lee to take full responsibilities over, but he, as the mayor of Tainan, he'd had the status of a governing official, that he has to be responsible toward the city council of Tainan; the head of the self-government of the locale's not following the most basic of rule of governing, clearly, it'd, breached the constitution and the local orders, the most fundamental responsibility of the local governing official, that he'd, hollowed out the city's right to set up its own governing rules, and shaken the most basic foundation of what is a democratic local government.
Although Lai used the excuses of "feeling ashamed of being in the same room of a suspect of bribe", to go into the meetings, seemingly, he was standing at the apex of the "morally responsible", but at the time, Lee had not been found guilty, nor had he gotten, relieved of his post, the Examination Department believed that Lai should NOT use the excuse of how Lee was the head of city council, and being accused as a justifiable reason to break the laws of the city.
Although, his impeachment ended in a slap on the wrists, it'd not affected Lai's political career at all, and now, he'd been, elected as, president, but his "ability to distort", because a mark of his in politics. Yesterday he'd asked for the interpretation of the constitution at the presidential office to the legislature, stressed, "The president is the guardian of freedom and democracy", showing his, "persistence" in character.
It's just, that just as he'd, persisted that he was right in the case of Lee, but had been found by the Examination Department that "not going to the city council, breaking his responsibility toward the constitution", what's meant by "guardian of freedom of democracy" wasn't his say so; nor is it, that the reforms pushed forth by the DDP are the reforms, the other proposals by other political parties are considered as "expansion of power."
just like, this...
with the caption that read: Lai: the worst any candidate can do is to emotionally blackmail the voters, the emotional blackmail won't WORK on the younger generations, and LOOK AT, WHERE we currently, A-R-E...photo from online
His point yesterday, wasn't on the right or wrong; if after amending the constitution, the DDP government and the legislative group of the DDP, started defaming, blaspheming, even, making the rumor mills about the legislative reforms, this showed how the DDP was, wayward in its claims. Surely, the contents of the amendment passed by the TTP and the KMT may be flawed, but, is it as awful as the DDP stated it is, to the point of the proposals being, "completely unconstitutional", it's still, debatable.
Let alone, the DDP, in order to win the arguments, turned the legislative reform proposed by the TTP and the KMT into "selling Taiwan", "working with the Communists", they didn't CARE about fracturing the country up; and yet, the president, other than his statement of "other than unifying the beliefs of my party, the rest of the parties are all proposing Taiwanese independence", this was his attempt of spreading the Red into the beliefs of the parties out of power. For the sake of his political agenda, he'd, blasphemed the parties out of power as "supporters of Communist China", how is this the behavior of a president, who's supposed to unify a country?
Back then, he'd refused to enter into city council, and now, he'd declared war on the parties not in power, the president, Lai's nature, may be the way it'd, always, been. But, the president who kept on, distorting the truth, will only cause more factions in the society. People do NOT want to see a replay of the then "not going into the city council for 232 days" of Lai's, the president, Lai, who'd called himself, "the guardian of democratic constitution", should also be, evaluated as well.
So, this is, too, hypocritical, and it still showed that these dictators only knew how to point fingers at others, and when someone else does it, it's unacceptable, but when they do it, it's, allowed, this IS, double-standards, and, we'd, elected this, corrupt political party, and let this immoral president rule over us, and the country IS, going, D-O-W-N!
